In this series, Bishop Malcolm uses Adam and Christ to describe the difference between religion and relationship. According to Bishop Malcolm, religion is the practice of appeasing an angry God and most Christians spend most of their time trying to appease God rather than building a relationship with Him. Bishop Malcolm also informed us that God only sees two people, Adam and Christ. After sinning, Adam took us from relationship to religion, while Christ saved us, taking us from religion to back to relationship. However, In this episode, Bishop Malcolm goes on to say, it is possible to study about God and not know God. Therefore, practicing christianity means studying Christ and a christian is one who is Christ like.
