Iceman Cometh Challenge Podcast

Join Rider Radio Podcast hosts Alex Primeau and Shannon Kochis as they interview Adam Govan hot off his win at the Traverse City Trail Fest.

Hear from our friends at Norte Youth Cycling on our newest kid's race plus all the amazing things Norte is doing!  Many thanks to Rider Radio host, Alex Primeau and Norte Youth Cycling guests Alex Zelinski and Rachel Rademacher.

Hosts Alex Primeau and Shannon Kochis sit down with longtime Iceman photographer Rob Meendering, the man behind the lens who’s been capturing the grit, smiles, and finish line glory of the Bell’s Iceman Cometh Challenge for years. Rob shares what it’s like to chase racers through the mud, the moments that stand out after decades of shooting, and how he perfectly captures the spirit of the Iceman weekend.

Tune in as they talk about the Ice Cycle Expo and this year's Iceman Cometh Challenge!

Welcome Iceman's to Rider Radio! Hosts Alex Primeau and Shannon Kochis sit down with longtime Iceman rider Mark Daisy to talk all things trail, training, and race day memories. Plus, a special drop-in from Iceman Cometh Challenge Executive Director Kat Paye, sharing a few behind-the-scenes updates as race day approaches!

Welcome to Iceman Rider Radio! Your hosts Alex Primeau and Shannon Kochis are here with another exciting episode. We’re chatting with Traverse City’s own Jack Klau, a rider for Suttons Bay Bikes, a member of Team USA, and a student-athlete at the Miller School of Albemarle, where he competes on their elite cycling team. Jack’s been making big moves in the cycling world, and we can’t wait to hear his story, his training journey, and what it means to represent Northern Michigan on the national stage.

We know, we know... this episode was recorded back in December — but like a smooth Bell’s brew after a snowy singletrack and a trusty Trek under your feet, it’s aged to perfection. Welcome to the long-awaited kickoff of Season 3!

In this episode, Shannon and Alex catch up with one of Iceman's favorite family – Erica and John O’Hearn – along with stories about their two awesome boys and the wild ride that was their 2024 Iceman experience. From family-friendly trail tales to icy triumphs, the O’Hearns bring warmth, grit, and good vibes to the mic.

Whether you're a seasoned Iceman rider or just dreaming of your first finish line, this episode delivers the camaraderie and chaos we all love about Iceman.

Hit play, relive the ride, and let’s get this season rolling!
