JZavoris Williams is one of the most enchanting and captivating of Iconic Women. She is dynamic and engaging! The author of Ignited Bones on which she collaborated with Bob Burden, the writer of Mystery Men. She also wrote The Operation Moonlight Edition, and Passage from Decadence Collection.

Her mother was a tremendous influence in her life.  She was raised to be strong and not to fall apart.  Taught that it was ok to be cynical but to be a happy cynic. And, if you are going to be old and alone, don’t be lonely.

Genesis found herself in the midst of various challenging situations in a field where women in general much less African-American women weren’t easily breaking the norms.  Genesis found herself having to  break through the walls of what some call the “good ole boy” club in her industry.  You can only imagine what it would have been like for an African-American woman to overcome the culture and break through boundaries that have been in place for generations.

It was one extremely stressful day of frustration that served as a catalyst for her to begin to document her journey as she typed into her cell phone her thoughts and emotions.  Those thoughts started the incubation period toward the birth of a tangible book in the form of Chocolate Drop in Corporate America.
