Caleb Collier visits with Idaho Speaks to discuss issues The John Birch Society is working on here in Northern Idaho.  We also discuss membership growth and the value of more people involved in influencing local issues.  Caleb referenced two local success stories that the John Birch Society helped influence.

Summer and Ed discuss the suggested NO Vote for the school levy on March 9th.  Ed & Summer also discussed issues that are on-going at NIC and the very public fight between the School President and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Brent Regan, chairman of the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee, discusses the CDA School Budget and Levy effort.  Brent also responds to an attack piece published in the CDA Press by two members of the School Board of Trustees.  Brent and Ed talk about issues voters should be aware of prior to voting on March 9th.

The Idaho House of Representatives took up crowd size limitations and in the opinion of the Idaho AG, congress actions “…don’t have the force of law.”  While I am sure there is some technicality I am missing, today’s episode is about the idea that the state “Law Makers” don’t have the force of law.  We’ll discuss the COVID-19 restrictions, how they impact our freedoms and what governments role in the process should be.

Carla Matter was recently elected President of the KCRWF and joins me in studio today to discuss issues that are important to her organization, how they plan on making a big different in North Idaho, and how more women get get involved to help.  We also discuss the School Levies and how the KCRWF stands on the issue.

Reading through the CoeurVoice a came across an article titled Not St. Vincent de Paul’s Problem, Everyone’s Problem.  The author, Kimber London, did a great job of detailing the warming shelter located in Post Falls and she also give a suggestion on how to help.  Noble cause and I agree…help where you can.  I’ve spent many days helping at soup kitchens feeding the homeless.  However, not to get to critical…but I notice the article didn’t talk any about bringing God in to the lives of the homeless people being served.  In today’s episode we’ll discuss homelessness and how turning to God could be a better answer.

Charity Myser from the Coeur d’Alene Chapter of the John Birch Society entered the studios at Idaho Speaks to discuss the School Levy up for vote this March.  Charity and Ed discussed the various challenges parents face with the education system in the Kootenai County School District and their position on how voters should vote on March 9th.
