Why are blank pages so scary?
What causes writer's block?
While there have not been that many academic studies on the causes of writer's block, there are likely three main components which contribute:
* The way the brain forms new idea through combinations, and the required triggers which a blank page does not provie
* Self Judgement that an idea is not good enough when it is originally formed
* Self-imposed inflexible rules and plans as to how the creative process should work
