Hey everyone, this episode was recorded a while before the Christmas and Halloween break but took a while to get done due to some personal reasons. This episode has some issues on my audio part due to some headphone clarity and possible recording app issues. Sorry for the wait, enjoy.

The crew has rested and are off to go and see if they can finish getting the salamander scales so they can get paid, but they are still trying to figure out how to get across the water that is in their path and that big dragon in front of them. One of them has a bright idea to swim in the water, but I think he might be an unwanted guest or an unexpected meal.

The Hounds have come back and have met up with Lambert to discuss the next mission ideas from the scouts after getting their first artifact and Zil training to become the next guardian of the Traveler. The crew managed to get themselves into more trouble than they thought, but to be expected from the DM's standpoint. A specter has Sakis in a tight hold and not letting go, Aerios is trying to figure out what he can do, and Grawth is doing the next thing of a Barbarian and trying to read a book. Their was an issue with the audio from our DM and could not be redone as it was live and only found out after the fact. So episode 1 will have some audio issues but will be fixed for future episodes.

This is the first episode of the Tipping Scale story. They are in the world of Sirione and begin in the city known as Riverhurst. This episode will be their first trial to retrieve their first artifact after a session zero for everyone (recording was lost). You will meet the crew that will be set forth on a journey to find themselves and open a can of chaos on this world - good or bad.

First off I want to say sorry for the long hold up in the episode, I recently had gotten into a car crash back in November before Thanksgiving and had to battle some personal demons to get this one out and finished. This was a session we had during my recovery (and at the publishing of this podcast still recovering but getting better thanks to getting actual help after 3 months of not the right help) and has some parts that is with me recording from my phone in the car. This will be the case for a few of them for now until it gets to me being home and able to record without recording issues.

Also switching up from the splits to a single full episode to let you hear it all without any cuts. It will be longer, but it will give you the full experience of the episode without waiting for another week to crank out the episodes again.

So we managed to rest up and we are on the way to go find this dragon to plung it with our holy plunger or one we can find since we lost the original one. Well we make it to a cave but look around and we see death around us...like literally the undead around us. Can we fight our way through this fight and make it to slay this dragon - our very first quest as a group, or end up dying before we even get our feet wet like the idiots we are?!

So here we are, fighting a T-Rex with high level mage armor after just beating some Hyenas that wanted to come at us. The team has a challenge in front of them lined up thanks to Rurk and he is not holding any punches this fight either. Can the squad make it out? Can Sakis make it through another fight without dying? Will Cro shoot him in the back by accident against a monster the size of a house?! Only time will tell on this episode of Idiots and a DM!!!
