I finally script an intro, but is it any better than any other intro? In this episode, I read an excerpt from a magic mushroom anecdote I found on Erowid.org and contemplate recording an episode on consciousness for the next episode.

Why podcast? My age old question resurfaces as I grapple with being worthy of my words. Why college? I revisit why I didn't want to go to college and why I hated college when I finally tried. Is college even worth it anymore? Is college really a place of learning and self-development or is it a money powerhouse built to provide an experience that churns out more brainwashed people? Why robots? Why do we invest so much in AI over our own kind? Is it because we hope the robots will be the new shepherds of earth when the billionaires take off to space? No answers to any of these questions, just more questions.

If you've ever wondered what your purpose is, what your dreams mean, or why the universe works the way it does, then this podcast might be for you. Not because I have all the answers - let me be clear: I have NO answers 😅 - but because curiosity is the driving force behind an infinitely creative and potentially existential life. I am a brooding optimist who sees the ineffable wonder of ordinary things.
