Highlights

• We reached KP 5 yesterday which was G1 storming and we did see auroras in Minnesota as well as higher latitudes of course due to the elevated solar wind and the co-rotating interaction region.
• A coronal hole is about to face our Earth we could see additional enhanced geomagnetic activity intermittently.
• Two M class flares occurred about 40 minutes apart beginning at 5:05 utc today.
• Complex sunspots will soon turn away from us, this may shift our solar flare potential.
• We are living in a period of exceptionally high Sun-Earth magnetic connectivity, the highest in at least 25 years. This is one of the reasons we are seeing geomagnetic storms expanding the auroras in mid latitudes even during moderate solar events.

Highlights

• The various views of space weather; catastrophism, space weather instrumentation, defense and preparedness, energy of this planetary shift (sky is falling, sky is ascending) and there is the physiological, emotional and evolutionary.
• G2 conditions were reached at 21 utc for 3 hours at KP 6 then it dropped to KP 5.5 for 3 hours, and eventually to KP 4.5 had a total of 9 hours of active storming conditions.
• A twisted knot from the solar wind with a mixture of CME (maybe) produced a co rotating interacting region.
• Auroras seen in mid latitudes once again.
• Solar flare activity was down from the previous day but we did have 2 M class flares making it moderate activity overall. Our highest flare was a M4.4 about an hour after G2 storming began certainly making for interesting conditions!
• Do we have another storm happening right now? Keep an eye out as plasma density took a rise during the recording of this podcast and the BZ went majorly SW again.
• Schumann Resonance is reflecting the geomagnetic field and the Schumann still has lingering activation and instability.

• Geomagnetic storms failed to produce, showing us once again, natures dynamic forces are in charge.
• Solar level activity is high. 31 solar flares in the past 24 hours, lower in intensity yet higher in frequency.
• Did see enhancements to the field with the plasma density (see picture below).
• Geomagnetic conditions are quiet to unsettled right now with average solar wind speeds.
• Schumann Resonance is more calm than the previous day, helpful for opening between alpha and beta brain wave states.

• G3 geomagnetic storm is predicted for today bringing conditions to KP 6-7.
• Solar flaring is at moderate levels with 9 M class flares keeping activity moving and sunspot activity continues to be dynamic.
• Auroras in Boston, London, Northern France and Germany possible for tonight.
• 7.5 earthquake in Honshu Japan at 1415 utc yesterday, tsunami occurred which was about 2.3 ft high, 33 people hurt, no deaths. There was a 6.6 aftershock in the area.
• Big Island volcanic eruption with episode 38 is now in progress.
• Mother Earth is releasing in big ways resulting in zero deaths, a huge blessing.
• Schumann Resonance calm with moderate activity - we are noting unusual patterns, possibly earthquake related.

Highlights

• Our Earth has multiple CME’s (coronal mass ejections headed to Earth). We have 3 storms headed our way and about 7 different CMEs.
• Geomagnetic storming conditions expected today to G1 – which should be a popper since our field has been at zero for the past 15-18 hours plus.
• Auroras in Paris, Chicago, Boston, London and probably further down south as they seem to be making their appearance there more as well.
• We could get G3 storm conditions tomorrow (KP 7) December 9th. Possible even G4 conditions. Will keep you posted!
• 24 solar flares in the past 24 hours, X 1.1, 3 M class flares and 20 C class flares. X 1.1 flare from 4298 @449 utc this morning and did trigger a R3 radio blackout over the Indian ocean for a solid hour.
• Sunspot complexity seemed to rapidly shift.
• Schumann found a moderately stable zone before the storms.

• Major sunspot complexity, the potential is there for much larger production.
• C class flares these past 24 hours, highest was a C7.4.

Highlights

• Did you see the sky from where you were last night?
• G3 storming was reached yesterday (KP 7) , however, G2 was predicted yet. The KP went from 4-7 which was certainly noticeable at 18 utc. This was from the X flare CME and coronal hole created a complexity to bring those conditions up to G3!
• Solar wind had a big leap from high 300’s to nearly 730 km/s yesterday.
• Solar flare activity is now back up to higher activity good size M class flare 6.0 last night from 4300 which did produce a R2 radio-blackout over the sunlit side of the Earth.
• Full moon also for our Earth.
• Solar Cycle 25 sunspot number for November are out and we are continuing to drop.

• G2 storm conditions are expected for tomorrow due to a large coronal hole and a CME produced from the latest X class flare. Will we get mid latitude auroras?
• Sunspot complexity has increased which is impacting solar flare prediction is at 30% for an X class flare and 75% for an M class flare. Much higher than we have seen in a while.
• Schumann field was moderately active yesterday and may have caused a mild instability for some.

Highlights

• X class solar flare, X1.9 at from old region 4274 now numbered 4299 2:26 utc today. It did produce a coronal mass ejection but it will likely not hit Earth. And produced a R3 radio blackout over Australia. This region is currently just rotating into view on the Northeast portion of the Sun. This region is still turning to face Earth. We could be on the docket for a more direct facing larger flare activity soon.
• Solar flare activity is up and high.
• Solar wind speed is down and just as the wind is reaching more average conditions, we have a large coronal hole about to make contact with our Earth beginning Wednesday and lasting through Friday where we could see an increase in geomagnetic activity.
• Geomagnetic field had a quite a bit of variability these past 24 hours from KP 1-4.
• Schumann has moderate to low activity.
• Potential forecast is up at X class 20% and M at 70%.
