If I Tell You

This weeks episode will be all about love. Self-love is one of the hardest things to master when maturing. This discussion will cover: Defining what love is(a challenge, I know), explain why self-love is needed for growth and how love changes the way we see ourselves.

“You have to know where you come from to know where you’re going.” Knowledge of our history, the understanding of where we’re coming from is essential to prevent us from repeating the mistakes of the past. This episode I am joined by Leo Edochie creator of “Afrocast” to discuss: the way our history is taught and understood, the role tradition plays in shaping who we are, our experiences of culture and viewing ourselves from the hill. This week’s episode is surrounding a slogan I heard as a teen “Abstinence mek sense”. When people think of abstinence the mind immediately goes to sex and intimacy. However, you can indulge in ANYTHING that is bad for you and your spirit. The discussion will focus on the things I indulge in: Toxic people, grudges and emotional thrill seeking.
