Most stories begin with once upon a time, or it all began with, or in the beginning. But we all know that a true story never actually begins, it evolves from its natural situation or consequences or choices. So, this story is simply about a town and its people. The town of Apple Valley as many towns may have been around for hundreds of years, with its people always believing that what was done behind closed doors is in secret or in the dark. The truth is I can see, I can feel, and I know every secret that has lined the streets of Apple Valley.
Let me start at the local community theater called Apple Valley Little Theatre. The whole town has gathered for their annual festival. You’re probably thinking it is the festival of Apples, well that would make sense but that’s not what Apple Valley is actually known for. The Festival of Love was a national tourist treasure. Thousands of people traveled near and far to witness the planned festivities, parade, Valley Creek of Love and placing antique locks on the RiverLot Bridge.
This was the moment for the small community theatre to be the star of festivities. The director, Alisha Davis, had written a play based on the lovers that founded the town.
