På ettervinteren for 38 år siden gikk en mor ut av leiligheten sin i Oslo. Hun forsvant ut av livet til mannen sin, og begge de to små jentene sine. Ingen har sett henne siden. Og ingen vet hvorfor hun gikk. Jentene som den gangen var 5 og 8 år har nå blitt voksne kvinner. Den eldste - Bente - har bestemt seg for å finne henne.

Last summer the emergency services rescued two children from an out-of-control fire in an old industrial building in the commercial area of Hong Kong. The children were living with their mother inside a storage unit in the building. For Assignment, Charlotte McDonald explores the reasons which would drive a family in one of the wealthiest cities in the world to live illegally in a place not fit for human habitation. It's estimated that around 10,000 people live in industrial buildings - although the true number is not known due to the very fact it is not legal. Hong Kong consistently ranks as one of the most expensive places to rent or buy in the world. Already around 200,000 have been forced to rent in what are known as subdivided flats. But now attention has turned to those in even more dire conditions in industrial blocks. From poor government planning, the loss of industry to mainland China and exploitative landlords, we uncover why people are choosing to live in secrecy in neglected buildings. When political activists like Daw Sander Min were imprisoned for their campaigns on behalf of Aung San Suu Kyi's National League for Democracy they were locked up alongside sex workers like Thuzar Win, criminalised by Myanmar's harsh laws against prostitution. Now Sandar Min is an MP and Thuzar Win addresses parliament on behalf of the Sex Workers in Myanmar network. With Myanmar poised to become the new global centre of sex tourism, Sandar Min and Thuzar Win are adamant that the future of the thousands of young people forced into sex work every year, depends upon the decriminalisation of prostitution.

Mogen journalisten het publiek ooit nog eens kietelen en een beetje prikkelen? Of zijn we alleen nog veilig als feitencheckers? Året är 1996. Sverige är i behov av en friidrottsstjärna. Ludmila Engquist blir svensk och tar OS-guld och VM-guld åt sitt nya hemland. Medierna har fått en ny älskling. Senare vänder allt. Från 2013 Ludmila börjar med bob och i jakten på ännu ett OS-guld dopar hon sig. Fallet blir tungt. Medierna kallar henne för "den före detta ryskan". De blå-gula linserna och örhängena kallas för ”ett mediatrick” och krönikörer beskriver sin personliga besvikelse efter Ludmilas dopning. I dokumentären berättar hennes boblagkamrat Karin Olsson om tiden med Ludmila.– Det jag fick vara med om hoppas jag att ingen annan får vara med om, säger Karin Olsson. Alexander Lundholm är reporter och programledare på Radiosporten. Han har tidigare gjort dokumentären "Susanna Kallur och kampen mot kroppen".När Alexander var åtta år såg han Ludmila Engquist vinna OS-guld i Atlanta 1996, något som fick honom att själv börja med friidrott. 

Det är 90-tal och Norge skakas av kyrkbränder och knivmord. Polisens spår leder till black metal-bandet Mayhem och skivbutiken Helvete. Varför ledde extrem musik till brutala mord? När svenske Per Yngve Ohlin, alias Dead, blir sångare i det norska Black metalbandet Mayhem i slutet av 80-talet handlar allt om musiken, att gestalta död, mörker och satanism. Men vissa inom den lilla subkulturen omsätter de mörka budskapen i musiken till konkreta handlingar. Mest fruktad blir den man som kallar sig Greven. När Per Yngve Ohlin tar livet av sig fotar bandmedlemmen Øystein Aarseth den döda kroppen för att använda i marknadsföringen av bandet. Snart brinner kyrkor över hela Norge och i Lillehammer hittas en man knivmördad. Våldet sprider sig till Sverige och Varg Vikernes, alias Greven, mördar Mayhems gitarrist. I dokumentären Black metal-morden berättar medlemmarna i Mayhem Jørn Stubberud, Kjetil Manheim och Erik "Billy" Norheim om de våldsamma åren men också om kärleken till musiken. Anders Ohlin, Pelles lillebror, berättar om den legendariske sångarens bakgrund och varför han egentligen var så besatt av döden. Medverkar gör också Ika Johannesson – journalist och författare till boken Blod eld död (tillsammans med Jon Jeffersson Klingberg). He has met the victims of terror, those involved in perpetrating terrorist acts and members of the intelligence services tasked with stopping them.
