Legendary NW Broadcaster Dick Pust came on Daybreak to talk about 51 years behind the microphone with his book that's out called "AM1240 Life At A Small Town Radio Station". Bree West, Kim Tiller and Jenny Goos came on Daybreak to get everyone excited for Highclimber football this season. The booster club does a lot for the team including help to raise money for travel, uniforms, equipment and more. The boosters are also working to help support the Thurston County Youth Football Program as well with great partnerships. You can sign up to play in this years Football Booster golf Tournament at the Alderbrook Golf & Yacht Club coming in August.

Shelton Highclimber Football Head Coach Mark Smith and Jeff Slakey talk about some of the upcoming events for the Highclimbers including a Rising Stars camp coming up, the team and senior retreats, and the Highclimber Booster Clubs Golf Tournament in August.

The 2021 Shelton Mason County Chamber Buisness Expo/Bite of Shelton is coming up on July 16, 2021 in downtown Shelton. Chamber CEO Heidi McCutcheon came on Daybreak to talk about the fun event. There will be over 75 businesses that will be represented and folks can vote for the Best Booth and the Golden Fork.

During a special Focus On Shelton, presented by Peninsula Credit Union, Shelton Police Chief Carole Beason and Mason County Sheriff Casey Salisbury came in to talk about laws that are changing at the end of July 2021. The police reform laws, enacted by the Washington State Legislature, are considered some of the biggest changes in policing across the country. Chief Beason and Sheriff Salisbury talk about what they are learning and the concerns they have.
