Mason County Sheriff Casey Salisbury came to iFIBER One KMAS to talk about the speaker at the latest Sheriffs Breakfast, Jeff Crocker who works with Marine Security for the FBI in Seattle. Sheriff Salisbury points out from out Oakland Bay you can get to anywhere in the world and anyone in the world can get to us. The FBI in Seattle works to protect us daily from threats home and abroad.

The Yesteryear Car Club is bringing back their car show at the Lucky Dog Casino along Hood Canal. This great event on Saturday August 14, will showcase all kinds of cars and more. There's food, fun, music and a good time. Gene Bush talks about all that's going on!

Nicole Eddins, PharmD and Lisa Perry from Sierra Pacific Industries came on iFIBER One KMAS to talk about a few different times where MGH had available vaccines for COVID-19 and not enough people to receive the shots. Once the vaccines are "opened" there is a limited time window to maintain efficacy. After a quick call to Lisa Perry at Sierra Pacific and they were able to get shots in arms of workers and other community members in Shelton.

Mary Ricker from the City of Shelton talked with Jeff Slakey about a new revisioning project the city is starting. People are asked for 3 words or phrases that help describe Shelton.

We want to hear from you! We are about to begin a rebranding project to refresh our City website, logo, and other marketing materials. There will be multiple opportunities throughout this process for community feedback.

Our first involvement opportunity is to answer the question "What are three words or phrases you would use to describe Shelton?" This survey will be open from July 20 - August 20, 2021. Responses will be reviewed by City staff. Future involvement opportunities and updates on the rebranding project will be shared here and on the City's website (sheltonwa.gov).

SHELTON – Three additional traffic signal boxes in Shelton look more colorful these days, thanks to three local artists and a generous donation from the Martha Reed Foundation.
