Other topics include further grant opportunities, development in Mason County, and a new job position available at the EDC. These EDC updates are presented by Mason County PUD 3.

35th District Representative Dan Griffey (R-ALLYN), called into Daybreak to talk about the House GOP Budget proposal that was released this week and how its primed to help people in the 35th and across Washington. The Working Families Tax Credit and what other bills Rep. Griffey would like to see get out of committee with the deadline coming soon.

During this Sheriff Sit-Down, presented by Our Community Credit Union, Mason County Sheriff Casey Salisbury brings on Abe Gardner who will be working as a Navigator in the Sheriffs Department to help assist deputies on calls by providing alternatives to jail for those who might be better served with social services.
