  • GTA 6 Delay Makes Take-Two Stock Prices Plummet - IGN Daily Fix
In today's Daily Fix:Grand Theft Auto is officially delayed to May of 2026. Fans are likely pretty disappointed in the news, but it's not entirely unexpected as they haven't shown anything of the game since its first trailer in 2023. But you know who's probably more disappointed? Take-Two Interactive stockholders. The company, who owns GTA developer Rockstar Games, took a hit in its share price after the announcement, but they're looking to bounce back with other game releases this year, including Borderlands 4. In other news, Hollow Knight: Silksong fans are a little confused at some official art from the game that appears to feature protagonist Hornet...undressing? • Xbox Raises Prices on Hardware and Games - IGN Daily Fix
In today's Daily Fix:Looks like the damn has burst. Microsoft has announced that prices for Xbox hardware—including consoles and peripherals—will be going up, along with first-party game prices. The new prices vary, but if you haven't already purchased an Xbox Series X or S, expect to pay at least $100 more. It also places the very premium Series X 2TB Galaxy Special Edition at a higher price point than the already expensive PlayStation 5 Pro, without any enhanced hardware specs to show for it. And you can expect to pay around $80 for new first-party Xbox games like the next Call of Duty and the Perfect Dark reboot. In other news, the Epic Games v Apple saga might be coming to a close. A federal judge has ruled in Epic Games' favor, which paves the way for Fortnite to land back on iOS devices after a five-year hiatus. And finally, Helldivers 2 has plenty of updates planned, and developer Arrowhead's CEO is teasing that they'll make you s*** your pants. That's a direct quote.

  • Borderlands 4's New Release Date Could Be a GTA 6 Tease - IGN Daily Fix
In today's Daily Fix:Borderlands 4 just got a new release date, and it's earlier than expected. Not only is that good news for Borderlands fans, but also Grand Theft Auto 6 fans. GTA 6 does not have a confirmed release date, only a vague "Fall 2025," but with both games falling under the watchful eye of Take-Two Interactive, it could be that Borderlands dev Gearbox may have gotten word internally on GTA 6's release date, and moved accordingly to make room. Could both games be releasing in September? In other release date news, upcoming action soulslike Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has a confirmed release date of July 24th, along with details of its Deluxe Edition and pre-order bonuses. And finally, A Minecraft Movie madness is getting the official okay from Warner Bros., with the studio supporting "Block Party" screenings where viral acts of Chicken Jockey insanity are encouraged.

  • Oblivion Remastered Player Escapes Cyrodiil, Explores the Rest of Tamriel - IGN Daily Fix
In today's Daily Fix:There's already plenty to explore in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, but what if there was even more beyond the boundaries of the main province? Redditor GnoblinXD found a way out of Cyrodiil and into the rest of the continent of Tamriel, but unfortunately there's not much there. No NPCs, towns, even trees. But it's a cool detail that the devs even put in the rest of the continent with no intention of expanding it. Unless, of course, there's brand-new DLC planned... In other RPG news, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is climbing the sales charts. It was impressive enought that it hit 500,000 copies in under 24 hours, and now the game has crossed 1 million copies sold in three days. In today's Daily Fix:Capcom thanked fans for 10 million gamers playing the Resident Evil 4 remake by posting a fun little video. However, some are seeing teases for Resident Evil 9 via a wooden sign in the video. Capcom has already confirmed a new mainline entry is in the works, but it might be a ways off. In other news, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is lighting up the sales charts, with around 500,000 copies sold in 24 hours. That's a great start for a new IP with a weird name, and it could be a huge franchise in the future, with a live-action movie already in the works. And finally, be careful when traveling with your cool—probably expensive—game merch. The TSA confiscated a Call of Duty Monkey Bomb from a passenger's check-in luggage, and reminded the public that replicas of weapons and explosives are not allowed on planes. No, the Monkey Bomb wasn't real, but still, the rules are the rules.
