Part 2 of Healthy Relationships. God’s Heart for us is to live in a loving relationship with Him and others - and that is our motivation to change. In this second part, we explore the process that cultivates a loving relationship with God and with people. The process comprises of Truth, Repentance and Faith. As we ask God to show us what separations have occurred in relationships, we ask His truth to shine on our hearts as He searches our hearts. As response, we repent and align our hearts afresh to Him. From this place, we move forward as we receive His mercy and grace by faith. Let’s be sensitive to the Holy Spirit ministering to us as we listen to the podcast and go through the notes.

As part of our Healthy Church series, our sermon for today is titled “Healthy Relationships.” We are always in the context of relationships; and this with God and people; making this a very important topic. Our relationships are often broken or tense due to hurts, but the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings healing and restoration so that we can freely love others as well as receive love from others. And that is our motive to have a change in relationships: love. As you listen to the podcast and study the notes, I pray that God will reveal His Truth so that our your relationships can heal and display His love.

It is God’s deep desire to have a deep and intimate relationship with each one of His children. To this intent, He is accessible, relatable, truthful, faithful and attentive. We are to pursue this relationship by practising healthy habits of regular time in the Word, prayer, worship, listening and meditation. This week and going forward, the encouragement is to see God’s perspective on relationships and approach Him with an attitude of openness and honesty. Have a blessed week!

Week 2 on our series “Healthy Church”. In today’s sermon, we start to look at a healthy identity. God is the Source and Sustainer of our lives. He made us and He sustains us. He is the GREAT I AM. The enemy’s strategy is to lure us away from Him being our Source and Sustainer - but in Christ we have the victory to respond like Jesus responded when His identity was attacked. The result? God is glorified and God is worshipped as we remain in His will and purpose for us. What about the moments that our identities do get “hurt” or when we do make wrong decisions? We go to the Father who fully heals and restores us back so that His Name can be glorified. Be blessed.
