There is, however, a specific way in which we can live our lives on a daily basis which prepares and shapes us for our unique purpose. We do this out of our identity as sons or daughters of God with the prayer that He would work to make His name holy and His Kingdom a reality in every area of our lives every day. And all God’s people said…AMEN! There is a powerful impact in the world when God’s people walk in unity. So powerful that Jesus said that the way in which we as believers walk together; will prove to the world that He was sent from the Father. We were created to do life with people out of our relationship with God. Let’s draw close to God’s people and let us allow others to draw close to us; let us win together - for the glory of God. This week our focus is on PURITY. Just as gold is refined through fire, we too need to go through a refining process. It’s a journey where we make choices, and God works within us to purify and shape us.

Sermon 3 of our Focal Point series “focuses” on POWER. Through an Encounter with the Lord, His power forms us into a new creation. We then Endeavour to work with Him to allow His power to work within us to grow more and more into the likeness of Christ! The Effect is His power then gets to work through us and allows us to be effective witnesses for Jesus in whichever sphere He invites us to display His glory. The podcast is available online! And that is WHY we “preach the Word” - because His Word reveals Him to us. His Word keeps us aligned. His Word brings life. His Word is Truth. His Word can be trusted. We get to know Him more and more as we “preach the Word”
