In this teaching , we look at how wisdom leads to vision. True vision flows from our relationship with God and is lived out through faithful stewardship of the life and gifts He has given us. As wisdom shapes our daily choices, we glorify God and move toward hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

The Gospel is not just something we believe; it is something we respond to. As shown through the beautiful story of Mephibosheth (2 Sam 9), there are 3 main ways to respond to the Gospel: "SAVOUR" it, "SHARE" it, and "SHOW" it. The Christian faith hangs on miracles - if you remove the miracles from the story then the Christian faith falls apart. The miracles/signs of the Bible, if we believe them, have the purpose of showing us that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing we may have life in His name (John 20:31). The miracles which we see still happen today take faith in Jesus as the Messiah, the Son of God, yet still result in us having life in His name. The stance we are required to have therefore, as Jesus followers, is to realistically expect the miraculous. You can listen again online. Be blessed!!

The Heart of the Father is to bless His children. It has always been His Heart. Part of this blessing is His peace and to live in His peace. This is a free gift because of His great love for us which we receive by faith. Often we find ourselves living in fear and anxiety; rather than a life of peace. We go through experiences that hurt us, and instead of receiving the healing of the love of the Father in these areas of life, we live in fear and anxiety.

Today He wants to restore our hearts afresh. Come with honesty about how you feel and what has been consuming you; and turn to Him and receive the love and approval of the Father afresh. He has the gift of peace for you. Amen.

In our sermon series on faith, we are pausing to focus on grace. In this message, we will look at three important questions: What is the grace of God? How is God’s grace connected to faith? And what does it truly mean, in practice, to live in the grace of God? These are essential truths to grasp as we seek to understand the grace of God. Enjoy!

Sermon 3 of our FAITH SERIES: Faith in His promises. God’s Word contains so many precious promises which are “Constant” and can be fully trusted (in faith). This is how we were saved and how we are called to live - by finding a promise, believing it and being fully persuaded that God has the ability to keep it, even when our situation may seem impossible. By grace, through faith, we now belong in the family of God. By faith in the completed work of Christ, our worth has been bought back by His life and we are sons in the Kingdom, approved by the King. This gives us a confidence to walk in His design for us, and to share this powerful Gospel message with the lost and brokenhearted. He designed us for good works, and we respond by walking in them from a place of belonging in the family of God.

Not all faith saves. Some believe about Christ, but saving faith embraces Christ — both for His saving power and His satisfying presence.

It sees Jesus not only as useful for salvation, but as precious above all else.

That’s why we say:

“Saving faith embraces Christ both as useful for His saving gifts and as precious for His satisfying glory.”

Faith saves sinners and glorifies the Savior.

Christ is most magnified in our faith when our faith is most satisfied in Him.
