This is one of those stories that I LOVE hearing first hand, Rebecca went through a traumatic experience at such a young age where her dad was sent to prison. She was 5 years old at the time.

And then through growing up in a toxic environment which was mentally straining and then ended with two abusive relationships. SHE STILL found it within her to create her own business! I mean, this was one of those stories which seems like a movie!

Her motto for her own podcast called the Rock bottom-up : is “TELL your story with the intention to set others FREE” And my god Rebecca definitely did this!! HERO!!!!

And this week! I have another powerful guest to tell her hero story! Welcome, Lucy Victoria Jackson.

This was an unexpected conversation for me as I felt nervous knowing bits of Lucy’s story but when we got into it, it was a really powerful and motivating story!

Lucy share’s her experiences from a young age, battling with bullying in school, developing anxiety and depression for a number of years and then engaging with an emotionally abusive relationship! The turning point for Lucy and the penny drop was when she discovered YOGA! If you want to know the POWER of yoga then Lucy’s story is one to hear!  She has now transformed her life around! And my GOD, this was inspiring!!

Jessica is an avid traveller and that’s been instilled in her from a young age, she talks about her experience of giving back by teaching English to kids in Cambodia at the age of 22!  

Jessica then goes on to tell us her story about an emotionally abusive relationship which in her words was a ‘whirlwind romance’. It was so interesting to hear the patterns of behaviour throughout this whole journey. It’s powerful how then Jessica goes into detail of how she got out of it and goes on a mission to be “living her best life”.

The way I summarised Jessica’s journey, it was like a movie!

And this week I have another, special guest that is Sam Ortyl.

Sam takes us back on his journey through when he moved From Poland to London back in 2007!

One of his main challenges, when he came to London, was the slow intake of alcohol which lead to an excessive intake and then becoming dependent on alcohol in certain situations which THEN lead to his anxiety and panic attacks.

I asked him outright, “how do you stop a panic attack” Sam goes into detail with lots of coping mechanisms and tips on how to deal with this and how he TRANSFORMED his life & being 5 years sober!

This truly is another HERO story and I’m grateful I had this time to hear Sam’s story!

Sarah talks us through her journey growing up as a young girl getting bullied in school, how she dealt with it, why this REALLY happened, then moving forward to her passion where she was really challenged as a teacher but subsequently always knew the bigger picture and the REAL impact it made to the students.
