Today's tarot session was particularly powerful. I'm always listening to the cards and trying to understand what they're telling me. As you can see, I don't always get it right. Sometimes I second guess myself. Sometimes I'm being too forward or not forward enough. Well, I'm trying, and that matters.

I really wanted to get into the weeds with my spiritual past/childhood and how anxiety and shame caused me to be spiritually performative. This is such a fascinating subject to me. And it's a subject that people (understandably) may be uncomfortable talking about. It can be hard to admit you weren't 100% authentic all the time. But I love vulnerability, so I talked about it. 

Digital performativity is also something that interests me. Why do people do it? What do they gain from their performance? And most importantly: why do you care? Why do I care? Why do any of us care about virtual authenticity?

Today I talked about cosmic self-care. I broke the chart into the cardinal, mutable, and fixed signs and gave some tips for making life a little easier sometimes.

I also talked about the struggle between whether or not astrology is ‘too complicated’, ‘too simple’, ‘too...whatever’. Basically, do what’s right for you. Whether that’s going deep or shallow, comfortable or uncomfortable, you can’t do it wrong. This is a thing you do for yourself.

In this episode I talk about looking back at a part of my life and being ashamed of it. Specifically, I was ashamed of my behavior. I did some not-cool stuff, and it's difficult looking back and remembering it. Through therapy, I've learned how to process my shame (grieving) in the healthiest way I can for myself, and to move forward with my life. 

The second half of this episode I talk about accountability. I share some tips I've come up with to help build accountability for myself.
