We're here measuring our love, trying to gauge our love, comparing ourselves one with another. But God's love, as far as we're concerned, is settled. We know God loves us. It's our love that's vacillating, isn't it? And so the focus shifts from God's love for us to our love for God. And when this occurs, God's love becomes more difficult to experience because His love becomes based upon merit. - Michael Durham
Michael Durham | 2023 Fellowship Conference | Session 4 | What was the power of Christ's look to Peter after he had denied the LORD? And are you and I looking to the LORD to see His look to us? Are we resting in and trusting the unconditional love of God for us as believers?
You asked me, if my trying had done me any good; and I answered, that I did not know as it had. You told me then, that you could tell me the reason why it had not:—the reason was, that I had sought with only a part of my heart. You went on to say to me, you must search with all your heart, not half of it: ‘Ye shall seek me and ye shall find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart?’ (Jeremiah 29:13)
During the past few years, it has occurred to me that a man could have a deeply rich and fruitful ministry for most of his life, and then in his later years do, write, or embrace something that almost, if not actually, disgraces the Lord's name and casts a shadow on his entire ministry.

"I was saved when I was young. All seemed to go well until my twenties when I was plagued with blasphemous thoughts, which plagued me day and night for some years. Several ministers advised me to ‘trust the Lord’ or ‘pray about it – but the more I did so, the worse it became! I seriously contemplated suicide. It was at this juncture that I asked Doctor Martyn Lloyd-Jones, for help."

A fact of first importance is that Christ was raised from the dead according to the Scriptures.
Tim Conway | 9:11 | Excerpt | There is a longing in every one of our hearts for someone we can trust and count on. Everyone longs for someone who won't let them down. Someone who is trustworthy. We want someone who will not lie to us. Someone who won't let us down. Someone whose promises I can stand on. Believer, you have that in Jesus Christ, He did rise from the dead, our faith is not futile.
