God has not "swept our sin under the rug", but rather Christ has bore our sin and the punishment for it. In His death on the Cross, He has paid in full the penalty due to us for our sin by bearing the wrath and anger of God that we deserve. Therefore God is just, and yet can declare righteous the unjust through the Just One, Jesus Christ.

Are there conspiracy theories out there? Of course, because the Bible speaks about a kingdom of darkness; and all humanity is either under the control of the devil or serving the Lord. Are there schemes and plots against Christians? Certainly. Yet those who are truly enlightened are the Christians! The rest of the world is in darkness and the grasp of the evil one.

If Jesus Christ is not the center of our message to the lost, then we have nothing that can change lost men's minds. Yet upon hearing of Christ, God may graciously open their eyes to see such a glory in Jesus that makes a man change his mind and repent and believe.

This Ask Pastor Tim deals with the question, "If I broke up with my boyfriend because he stopped being a Christian, is it OK to wait for him till he comes back to Christ, or do I have to move on?" First Tim considers what true salvation is, that it's not some "in and out thing". Secondly, he considers what type of relationships the Bible even talks about existing between a guy and a girl.

Jesus taught that the real proof of being genuinely saved is not by what we say, but by our walk. Do your actions reflect what your lips proclaim to believe? If so, then you will find yourself looking to what Jesus says for direction in your life. May the Lord give us strength to do what Christ says by His power working in us.

As believers we need an eye for the eternal and we ought to mark that which is temporal or eternal. Then we must look at that which is eternal and set our eyes on living for and knowing those eternal realities. Things like who God is and the Word of God, the souls of men, the dealings of God in your life, providences of God, kind tokens of His presence and love.

When God saves someone there is a revelation of the mystery of God's will that is in Christ. This mystery we would not understand if God did not specifically cause us to see it. It is the Lord who opens our minds to comprehend hidden things and make "known to us the mystery of His will." (Ephesians 1:9) As a Christian something suddenly came upon your spiritual senses, that you were never able to see or perceive before. In this sermon Tim seeks to dig out what the meaning of the mystery is.

God’s ultimate purpose is pointing to the unification of all things by way of reconciliation to God by peace, which is made by the blood on Christ’s Cross. As Ephesians 1:10 says, “as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.”

“Behind a frowning providence He hides a smiling face.” There’s a truth there, that the song writer says, that you and I need to know. The reason why is because how frequently Scripture hits us with this truth. The Providence itself makes it look like God is frowning at you, but if you can pull back the veil you see a smiling face and the kingdom of heaven.

Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.

His purposes will ripen fast,
