It can often be a limiting belief that we are afraid to make more money because we think people who have money are bad. How much money someone has is separate from whether they are a good or bad person. People are people, and there are good and bad people out there in the world. Whether someone is good is based on that individual person's integrity, values, and ethics, not how much money they have. Money is just an amplifier - it allows good people to spread more good in the world, and bad people more bad.

Listen to hear why we don't believe in no spend days. In short, they don't work long-term, and they can do significant damage on your financial confidence and money mindset when you're trying to transition to building wealth. Like a crash diet, no spend days can give you a quick fix to address overspending habits. But they won't help you sustainably build better habits to manage your money and reach financial freedom.

It is very difficult to make any real change in your finances in terms of wealth building if the total income number you’re working with in your budget doesn’t grow.
Sneak peek - part of it comes down to resisting the way immigrants have been historically treated as cheap labor under U.S. immigration policy. This image is of people who were part of the Bracero program, which was a policy that allowed the U.S. to use Mexican immigrants for labor when labor supply was low and then swiftly deport them when no longer needed. Much of immigration law has been built on this foundation. We discuss further in the episode how learning how to generate income on your own is a way to build power in direct resistance.
