Singer/songwriter Odhran Murphy was watching a football match when he got a call from ITV to tell him his track Stars was part of the show’s soundtrack that night.

With only minutes to spare before the episode started, Odhran left the match and raced home, just in time for the show.

The romantic ballad, inspired by the musical The Greatest Showman, was used during a recoupling scene and prompted huge interest among viewers, with thousands turning to music app Shazam to find out the artist’s identity.

Born in Nigeria, Jean-Luc Uddoh or JyellowL as he's better known has called Ireland home since he was a young teenager. 

Having struck a deal with his Mum to sit the Leaving Cert, JyellowL went on to complete a degree in politics in UCD.

SInce then, his career has been going from strength playing massive gigs at Longitude and Body&Soul and his music has been featured on FIFA20 and Normal People.
