In light of February being teen dating violence awareness month This episode highlights some big relationship red flags. Please keep in mind this isn't nearly all the relationship red flags to look out for, but rather a breakdown of the ones I find most common. In this week's episode we don't only identify emotional trauma triggers but talk about how we can gain better control of them in times when we react, or oppose the situation at hand. Rather than letting our emotional triggers run fragments of our lives. With better knowledge of why we react in the ways we do, and how to slow down/change that thought cycle, things that once would rule your whole week, are just a bump in the road

In this episode we see my unfiltered take on teenage sex ed; importance of clear consent and what that does and does not look like, as well as making smart sexual decisions. By this I mean taking care of yourself emotionally, setting boundaries with others, and taking care of your health and body if you are sexually active.

Not knowing or having clear personal boundaries you lose your voice, remember everyone’s at a different point in their growth and their goals; so always choose yourself over what you think you should be doing or is deemed okay by others. You the only one who understands your aspirations and what your comfortable with. Think; does validation seeking lead up to belittling our own boundaries?

In this week's episode we get into feeling lonely and not only questioning what we can do to not necessarily combat these feelings but work with yourself to better them. Being alone is okay, it's just time to improve your relationship with yourself and create stability.

This week we talk about the media and how marketing, editing, and filtration can affect the viewers(ourselves) self image. Seeking validation from the media and peers leads us to crave the false confidence it gives us, and maybe do things or portray ourselves differently for that validation. In this episode we really get into why what you think about yourself matters more and build that personal confidence from what you choose to believe, not what others say
