On the one hand, our culture is be obsessed with death, but in another respect, Americans don't seem to have tools for dealing with death when it really happens. Daniel Pena, singer, upright bassist and song writer for psychobilly band The Silverhounds posits that it seems in order for us to engage with death, there has to be an element of fantasy to help make it safe. What is that all about, anyway? His new album, Nevermore, explores themes of death, and he talks about a personal death that had an affect on his work. The boys also talk about their ideal and most cringe worthy potential deaths, and as usual, the Domster's got a doozy.
