I've never been much for fashion. Even in high school, I wore the basics. Fashion would change frequently and most of my friends were quick to change with the latest styles. It took me a bit longer. Even with my hair: as other women dyed theirs to look younger I allowed mine to turn grey naturally. Of late, it seems that grey is now en vogue. My kids have declared me a trendsetter! While it's endearing to be called trendy, I'd much rather be one who's an innovator in a more sacred matter:
