I’m Jealous

I’ve had an awakening friends. Thanks to a smart, talented young woman named Jana Janevska from JJ Media on IG @heyjjmedia and @eatinggoodinyyc

Everything is content!!! I hope I can explain why this was such a revelation to me. It’s really changed my mindset. Content creation and social media isn’t easy but it can be super rewarding and it’s necessary when building a business, especially one that’s online only.

I’m so revitalized after talking with Jana. I feel like I have a ton of work to do but somehow I feel way less overwhelmed and stressed about my content! I have more to talk about on this topic!!! Anyhow, on today's episode we talk all about press! We talk about my plan to get press and who I want to reach out to, mainly local media and women focused organizations. I'm learning that it's helpful to start by thinking about your target customer (aka community) and where they can be reached, to decide which types of media to focus on. It's also important to be honest with yourself about your goals for your business so you know if it makes sense to spend a little or a lot on your marketing efforts!
