The impulse to buy is something most people struggle with, but few realize the bondage that accompanies these impulses. The marketplace provides many opportunities to trap us into becoming undisciplined in our shopping habits. We want, we see, and we buy. Many times it can be as "candy coated" as the purchase of candy itself. God wants us to have the discernment of the Holy Spirit in all of our purchases. The problem is as old as the garden itself. One example is when Eve purchased fruit with the price of her soul. We must reject all that appeals to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of our lives (1 John 2:16).

The Father makes it clear that He is the beginning and the end. If we were able to find all the spoken and inspired words describing God in the Word of God, we still would not come close to describing the Father of heaven. It will take eternity for us to discover all the attributes of God. This is the primary reason why we should be so excited about going to the Father and spending eternity with Him. If you have been doing any reading in the book of Revelation, you will discover that Babylon will show its face one more time. This city has always been a thorn in God's side. It has and will again pride itself in wisdom, wealth, and power. In the case of King Nebuchadnezzar, he was turned over to a depraved mind for making such arrogant claims.

God says the rain falls on the just and the unjust. For our reading benefit, we could easily say the “money falls on the just and the unjust.” As we look around at the end-times, we see an entire world prospering, but only for a season. Once Adam was put into the Garden, God told him to tend to it so that the seeds coming forth from these plants can bear new life and this was to be done BEFORE God granted him a helpmate. This too was a pictorial overview of what Christ was called to do for mankind. Email me: [email protected]

God created us to be placed in tribes, families, communities, fellowships, small groups and in nations – for the single purpose of dependence within the Body of Christ. In Genesis the Lord reveals to us one of the more significant simple truths of design.

Friendship in our post-modern times is viewed as some kind of self-love exchange. Long gone is the truest definition – a vessel to entrust the Gospel and mission of God. I openly admit that my friendships, as few as they are, are for the strict purpose of ministry inheritance. This may sound cold or rude but since I know God’s purpose of friendship, the o-pinions of others matter not to me.

To have true friends (an exchange of identity) is a great personal blessing. Let’s face it, when you add up all your relationships on earth, most people can count on one hand true friends that are thicker than blood. Some of the most painful experiences of life come to us through broken friendships or having those we love turn on us at the first signs of disillusionment. But friendships are often strained because God’s principles regarding true friendship are ignored or simply violated.

Knowing and discovering your Spiritual Gifts is a fun and exciting journey. Always know that there may be many different types of gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit, but it is one Spirit that works all these together. He is the one who distributes them. It is not something you can pray in, practice having or even study to attain. God gives each of these gifts as He desires.
It works that way!
