The authority structure laid out by God from the beginning of human time is what makes or breaks the Lord’s “machine” from functioning according to the God of the Hebrew. Authority structures are part of God’s Holy design and cannot be avoided – even in a post-modern world. Everyone is under authority, even Satan himself.

Scripture tells us that God makes everything that happens in life fit into a pattern of good to those who love Him from within and are called for His purpose. Why? To be conformed to the image/reflection of His Son Jesus Christ – but only for those who have been called for His purpose.

"Paganism" in the context of classical antiquity as "the unity of religion and politics, of spirit and nature, of god and man", qualified by the observation that "man" in the Pagan view is always defined by ethnicity, i.e. Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Jew, etc., so that each Pagan tradition is also a national tradition. It is to postulate that the emergence of monotheism (one God), must find a way to merge all gods into one universal god – the “Grand Architect” of all gods. Thus paganism and Hell-enistic (4th century Greek period of multiple gods) cultures became the answer. From this the Pagan traditions and the universality of human spirituality (Geist/spirit), finally resulting in the emergence of a religion with a universalist scope in the form of the organized society of the “Knight Templers.”

Man’s default from birth is to be equal with God, if not rise above Him. Not only is this a sin but it is entirely fruitless. So why do we attempt to do such a ridiculous thing? The sin that became our identity in the garden was and is to be like God. Even though the thought of such and act is absolute idiocy – we practice such futility on a daily basis. Seriously, how could the Creator and Sustainer of all the universe and beyond; the Designer of everything spiritual psychological, and tangible; the Controller and Lord of all thrones, dominions, and powers both visible and invisible; the Architect of eternity –
how could He possibly have an equal?
