Dear Beloved Readers and Supporters,
As we celebrate this joyous Christ-as-Life season, we at IOM America and the End Times Chronicles are filled with gratitude for each of you. Your support, prayers, and engagement have been a tremendous blessing, and we are truly thankful for your continued faithfulness.
As we reflect on the past year, we are awestruck by the prophetic signs and wonders that herald the imminent return of our Savior, Yeshua, the Great Counselor. Each event, both in the heavens and on Earth, serves as a reminder of His promises and the fulfillment of Scripture. As we celebrate His human birthday, we are filled with hope and anticipation, knowing that these divine manifestations draw us ever closer to the Rapture, and His glorious second coming. Let us rejoice in His love and grace, and remain vigilant in our faith, as we await the triumphant return of our King.
In this season of the love of Yeshua and giving, we are reminded of the precious gift of our Savior, Jesus Christ. As it is written in Isaiah 9:6, "For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." May this truth fill your hearts with peace and the indwelling joy of Yeshua, knowing that our Lord is with us and His love endures forever.
We pray that this Christmas brings you and your loved ones abundant blessings, warmth, and the comfort of God's presence. May His grace and mercy be upon you, and may the New Year be filled with hope and renewed purpose in Christ.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and for your unwavering support. We look forward to continuing to serve and uplift you with our writings and ministry.
Merry Christ-as-Life and God bless you abundantly!

I AM NO LONGER A SINNER | TWO NATURES
Upon salvation, a born-again believer undergoes a profound spiritual exchange, receiving a new nature through the redemptive work & LIFE of Jesus Christ. This theological concept is not just thought provoking, it is anchored in passages such as 2 Corinthians 5:17, which declares:
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
OUT WITH THE OLD | IN WITH THE NEW
The old nature, Adamic nature, or often called “old self” has passed away; “behold, the new has come." This signifies that the believer's former sinful nature is crucified with Christ, as stated in Galatians 2:20:
"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me."
The death of the old self on the cross symbolizes the believer's release from the bondage of sin and the dominion of the flesh.
In its place, the new nature of Christ dwells within the believer, enabling them to live a life empowered by the Holy Spirit. This new nature aligns the believer's will, desires, and actions with the Righteousness and Holiness of God & Yeshua, causing spiritual growth and conformity to the image of Christ.
Upon experiencing the indwelling salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, the believer should recognize their new identity in Christ rather than continuing to identify as "I am a sinner."
This theological truth is rooted in the transformative power of salvation, the Exchanged Life, where the believer is made a new creation. The believer's past, marked by sin and separation from God, is crucified with Christ, and they are now clothed in His righteousness.
While acknowledging that they still battle with sin, walking after the trash the Old Nature left behind, the believer's primary identity is no longer that of a sinner but of a redeemed and sanctified child of God. This shift in identity is crucial for living out the victorious Christian life, as it aligns the believer's self-understanding with their position in Christ. By embracing their identity as Saints possessing the Life of Christ, beloved and set apart for God's purpose, believers are empowered to walk in the Spirit, able to resist sin, and reflect the character of Christ in their daily lives.
In essence, the declaration "I am a sinner" fails to capture the fullness of the believer's new nature and standing before God.
Instead, believers should affirm their identity in Christ, saying, "I am a new creation, redeemed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus," which brings honor to the great exchange Christ demonstrated in their lives.
IN THE NEWNESS OF INDWELLING LIFE
Through this transformation, the believer is equipped to walk in newness of life, bearing the fruit of the Spirit and fulfilling God's purpose and calling. Thus, the new nature is both a gift and a call to live out the reality of being a new creation in Christ, reflecting the character and love of Yeshua in all aspects of life.

ME BEING ME
The phrase "me being me" often implies a sense of self-acceptance and authenticity, but it can also become a misnomer when it leads to self-centeredness and resistance to spiritual growth.
In the context of our identity in Jesus Christ, this mindset can hinder our transformation and sanctification. When we cling to our old selves, the trash the Old Nature left behind, and justify our flaws under the guise of "me being me," we resist the work of the Holy Spirit in shaping us into the image of Christ.
True identity in Christ calls us to die to our old selves and embrace the new creation we are in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17). This involves surrendering our will, desires, and behaviors to align with God's purpose and character. By focusing on "me being me," we risk prioritizing our comfort over our calling, ultimately stunting our spiritual growth and the fullness of life that Christ offers.
HERE IS THE GIG
Your old life is gone unless the Spirit of Christ does not indwell you. If not born-again, your condition will always align with your Adamic nature. You will default to trash produced by the “old nature” and, thus, live a life of death. Meaning and purpose in life do NOT flow from the devil’s identity. Let’s review the process.

BIBLICAL FACTS
Demonic oppression and clinical depression are often discussed in different spheres, yet there are instances where the spiritual and psychological realms may intertwine, leading to a complex overlap.
Demonic oppression, as understood in spiritual contexts, involves supernatural forces influencing an individual's mental, emotional, and sometimes physical state, often manifesting in ways that mimic or exacerbate psychological disorders.
Clinical depression, recognized in the medical field, is a condition characterized by persistent sadness, loss of interest, and various cognitive and physical symptoms, which frequently overshadows spiritual depression. The challenge lies in distinguishing between the two, as the manifestations of demonic oppression can hide behind the clinical diagnosis of depression, complicating treatment and understanding.
This overlap calls for a Biblical approach that considers both spiritual and psychological dimensions, ensuring that individuals receive comprehensive care addressing all potential influences on their well-being. While clinical interventions can be misguided and obtrusive, incorporating spiritual discernment and support can provide a fuller path to healing for those facing such profound struggles.
Yet most turn to the clinical over that of the Biblical!
Fact, when you attempt to sedate oppression, the individual’s symptoms frequently increase, causing symptom rebound. Often known as the medication’s side effects are more dangerous than the person’s initial depression - ultimately plaguing individuals with tardive dyskinesia.
Tardive dyskinesia (TD) is a neurological disorder characterized by involuntary, repetitive movements, often affecting the face, tongue, and limbs. It is most commonly caused by long-term use of antipsychotic medications, which are used to treat conditions like demonic depression, clinical depression, bipolar disorder, and a host of other mental issues. Symptoms can include lip-smacking, grimacing, rapid eye blinking, and involuntary movements of the arms and legs. Unfortunately, outside of healing by God, TD is often not reversible, spurring on more medications with additional side effects.
The mounting side effects of antipsychotic drugs are a growing concern for both patients and healthcare providers. These medications, while minimally effective in managing symptoms of mental health conditions, can lead to a range of adverse compounding effects. Common side effects include weight gain, metabolic changes, dry mouth, and movement disorders like tardive dyskinesia. More severe side effects can include abnormal heart rhythms and neuroleptic malignant syndrome, a potentially life-threatening condition.
The challenge lies in balancing the supposed therapeutic benefits of these drugs with their potential risks, necessitating careful monitoring and individualized treatment plans to minimize harm while maximizing efficacy. However, there is a better place to start - considering spiritual therapy, Biblical discipleship.
THE TOP TEN SPIRITUAL REASONS
Spiritual depression is a profound sense of sadness, emptiness, and disconnection that extends beyond typical depressive symptoms to deeply affect one’s spiritual life and beliefs, ultimately rejecting God over that of selfish choices.
Individuals experiencing spiritual depression may feel distant from their supposed Life in Christ, struggle with a loss of purpose, and grapple with doubts about their spiritual journey, while developing a habitual act of rejecting the solutions offered in the Word.
This condition can be triggered by various factors such as personal traumas, existential crises, or beliefs of guilt and inadequacy within one's spiritual practices. Unlike the worldly label of clinical depression, which primarily focuses on psychological and physical symptoms, spiritual depression is centered on one's relationship with God and Yeshua and their sense of spiritual well-being. Addressing spiritual depression requires a spiritual approach with a spiritual leader, incorporating both psychological support and spiritual guidance to release healing and reconnection by releasing the Holy Spirit from within.
Spiritual depression can stem from various factors, often involving a combination of personal, emotional, and spiritual challenges. Here are ten common reasons:
* Traumatic Events: Experiencing trauma can shake one's faith and lead to beliefs of abandonment by God Himself.
* Moral or Ethical Struggles: Internal conflicts about moral inadequacies or ethical dilemmas can cause paralyzing spiritual distress.
* Spiritual Unanswered Questions: Unanswered questions about life's purpose and meaning can lead to spiritual depression.
* Spiritual Body-Life Issues: Conflicts or beliefs of exclusion within the church community can contribute to a sense of isolation.
* Neglecting Spirituality: Failing to prioritize spiritual teachings and practices like prayer, meditation, Bible reading, or attending services can lead to a sense of disconnection that leads to isolation, which activates spiritual depression.
* Selfish Behavior: Questioning or doubting one's faith through self-manufactured beliefs can create beliefs of hopelessness and discouragement. Since all of humanity falls short of creating organic TRUTH, self-produced beliefs result in failure - every time.
* Past Sins: Guilt and shame over past sins can weigh heavily on one's spiritual well-being. Since the Cross of Christ was meant to address this issue, self-manufactured guilt fades into oppression.
* Life Challenges: Everyday stressors such as job loss, financial troubles, or relationship problems can impact spiritual health and a worldview of God, it typically results in humanity’s disappointment IN God. Oppression settles in at this point, which hides its ugly head in the worldly fable of “depression.”
* Excessive Self-Examination: Constantly scrutinizing oneself for spiritual shortcomings can lead to beliefs of inadequacy. Classically, this is due to a refusal to allow the Life of Christ to examine their life authoritatively.
* Mental Health Habits: Overall, self-proclaimed Christians are known for poor psychological patterns, which activate anxiety that frequently exacerbates spiritual struggles. Mental disorder, an unorganized mind, is likely the leading cause that activates the above list.
Understanding these factors can help in addressing and overcoming spiritual depression. If you're experiencing any of these, it might be helpful to seek out a spiritual advisor - one who has a Biblical perspective of the importance of the believer’s identity in Christ.
What to do:
* Start by isolating the problem with a qualified discipler, minimally a therapist with a Christ-as-Life perspective.
* Read the book of Romans. Afterward, go back and study each verse thoughtfully.
* Study the book of Galatians. This book clearly reveals what happens to believers who embrace worldly ideologies. Go through my series on the Galatian Giants HERE.
* Action wise, do the opposite of the itemized top ten reasons noted above.
* Finally, consider going through the “Knowing Identity Matters” study HERE.
Spiritual depression may be triggered by a crisis of faith or existential questions, and clinical depression by more general life stressors or trauma, the root causes often overlap, if not being the same - leading to similar emotional and psychological experiences.
Understanding this connection can help in addressing the root cause of both types of depression - both being tools of God’s enemy to retard a connection to either needing Christ as you redeemer or setting you free through the Life of Christ from the inside out.

"But he answered, 'Truly I say to you, I do not know you.' "Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour." (Matthew 25:12-13)
Listen to the audio version:
Faithful Reader & Supporter:
Can you imagine being one of the five virgins who were left behind due to the lack of oil in their lamps, hearing the above words spoken to you?
In the parable of the ten virgins from the Gospel of Matthew, Yeshua (Jesus) narrates the story of ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were wise and had their lamps full of oil, while the other five were foolish and did not. As the bridegroom delayed, all ten virgins fell asleep. At midnight, a cry announced the bridegroom's arrival, and the wise virgins trimmed their lamps and had enough oil to join the wedding feast. However, the foolish virgins, realizing they lacked oil, begged the prepared virgins for oil, then rushed to buy more but returned too late and were shut out from the celebration.
This parable illustrates the spiritual significance of being prepared and filled with the Holy Spirit - not mere followers of the principles of the Groom, as those without the "oil" (indwelling Life of Christ) of readiness were left behind, unable to partake in the joy and fulfillment of the bridegroom's arrival. Worse yet, to hear the words Truly I say to you, I do not know you.
Yeshua's father, the Hebrew God Almighty, gave humanity 6,000 years to decide to receive the Life of Christ by being filled with the oil, the Holy Spirit.
If we think for one moment that "following" versus being indwelt will secure our place at the Wedding Feast after the Rapture, we are beyond deceived. God is always numerically proactive in His prophecies. In our story, there were ten virgins - 5 were "followers," and five were indwelt by the oil (Holy Spirit). Reader, that means that 50% of all self-proclaimed Christians are going to be left behind to face the dark days of the End Times tribulations. Ouch.
Over the past 40+ years of writing and teaching, I have discovered one thing: the deception fake Christians (followers) are under is the darkest cloud of the evil domain. Not only are they darkened to the message of Christ in you, but their minds are banking on the ridiculous ideology that because I have a lamp and am one of the ten, I am good to go. I do not know of any cleverer lies the enemy of God, Satan, has perpetrated onto the church.
Hosting the Life of Yeshua from within IS authentic salvation!
The parable of the ten virgins profoundly illustrates the importance of believers keeping their lamps filled with oil, symbolizing the Holy Spirit. This oil is essential for maintaining the light of Yeshua (Jesus) within us, guiding our actions, thoughts, and hearts. In anticipation of His return, this continual readiness and spiritual vigilance reflect our faith, loyalty, readiness, and devotion.
Jesus identifies His authentic Bridal Members by the light (LIFE) coming from their lamps! His light and life confirm the invite to the Wedding Feast.
Just as the wise virgins were prepared with enough oil to meet the bridegroom, believers are called to nurture their relationship with Yeshua, staying spiritually alert and filled with His presence. This way, when the day of His return arrives, we will be ready to join in the eternal celebration, our lives radiating the light of Christ.
Yeshua said these words, those who endure to the end, those shall be saved. This is another way of saying those who have oil in their lamps in the end will join Him for the Wedding Feast.
THANKFUL FOR THE OIL
Authentic indwelt believers should continually express gratitude for the oil of the Holy Spirit that dwells within them. This divine presence not only empowers and sustains our faith but also illuminates our path with the light of Christ, guiding us through life's challenges and uncertainties. The Holy Spirit provides wisdom, comfort, and strength, transforming our hearts and minds to reflect the character and Life of Yeshua. Being thankful for this sacred gift advances a deeper connection with God, encouraging believers to live out our faith with joy, purpose, and unwavering devotion.
In the doctrine of the end times, one central and unifying theme stands out: the anticipated return of the Groom, Yeshua (Jesus). This pivotal event underscores the culmination of history, where Yeshua comes back to gather His faithful oiled filled believers, fulfill His promises, and establish His eternal kingdom. Believers are called to remain vigilant, live righteously, and keep their faith steadfast, filled with endurance, as the return of Yeshua signifies the ultimate restoration of creation and the fulfillment of God's divine plan. This expectation provides hope and assurance, guiding the faithful through trials with the promise of everlasting joy and peace in the presence of their Savior.
As we enter the week known for being thankful, may our hearts be truly filled with gratitude for the ultimate gift - the oil of the Holy Spirit. This divine presence not only empowers and renews us but also fills our lives with the light and love of Yeshua. In this season of thanksgiving, let us acknowledge and celebrate the Holy Spirit's role in guiding, comforting, and transforming us, making each moment a testament to God's enduring grace and faithfulness.

Have a blessed "Thanksgiving" from our ministry to your home!

Suicide | An Illicit Lover: Get Help
Listen to the audio version Jane’s essay.
When I was a young girl, I spent hours marching in my grandma’s living room, to the tunes of John Philip Sousa that played on her record player. Grandma gave me a plastic baton & I marched myself silly, dreaming of one day becoming a majorette in the high school marching band. In our small, northwest Iowa community, music was front & center in both church & school. Though I took piano lessons, I had my eye on our neighbor, who gave jaw-dropping performances as head majorette in the band.
Marching Orders
Around the time I was going to enter junior high, Yvonne offered baton lessons during the summer. I was all in! She was great at teaching and I marched in a few parades in junior high. It was fun and enjoyable & I was hooked! So, I was thrilled when I made the high school majorette corps as a freshman. The 16 of us practiced both during band hours and after school, working long & hard perfecting a variety of routines while wearing the traditional white boots with tassels. The band played/marched at football games, parades (the longest being 5 miles), the Tulip Festival, outside community events, & school competitions. It was physical work but all the marching orders that our band stepped off, in training, paid off. I don’t ever remember getting less than an A+ rating at competitions. It was a commitment, but it was FUN & one of my favorite memories. To this day, I can still twirl to routines # 1 & # 5. 😊
Fast forward 25 years, when in a crisis moment, my heavenly Father issued me a completely different set of marching orders. After returning from a family retreat, I received a late-night call from my brother, informing me that mom was in the hospital (28 hours away), had brain bleed resulting in a stroke, & wasn’t expected to survive. Arrangements made that evening are a blur to me even now. I went from doing laundry to standing by her bedside in a matter of hours.
My 2 siblings & I had the privilege of witnessing her final moments on earth. Even though it appeared she had no brain activity, she responded to my voice by turning her head toward me when I prayed. Then she resisted our hands & pulled her hands up, above her body. After 30 seconds or so, she slowly lowered them into her lap, folding them like she normally did. Her heart beat 20 more minutes before she went Home to Jesus. I can still see her in my mind. I’ll never forget it!
Two hours later, I walked into her house, immediately seeing the signs of her last moments there…the recliner where she was found unconscious, the broken lock from the EMT’s forced entry, & the little indicators that said she had completed normal tasks & was resting. She had fallen asleep listening to Christian radio. It was surreal! In 3 years, both dad & mom were gone.
Despite being up for 40 hours, sleep evaded my body because my mind was reeling. Sometime after midnight I got out of bed & sat on the carpeted floor in front of the upstairs furnace vent. My sis & niece were already sleeping. The waves of loss & exhaustion were hitting hard by this time. I was a heap on the floor. Still in my early 40s, I felt too young for this to be reality. Some of my friends still had their grandparents. Steve’s parents were still living. Combined with the fact that he & the girls were traveling in the van, I felt isolated, lonely, & despairing…like I was suffocating. I was crying hard & my silent, wailing plea was, “Dear God, help me!”
These days the phrase “God told me” is often used flippantly to validate independent decisions. If things don’t work out, God just “says” something else & folks adjust former plans. This is NOT the attitude I’m promoting in the experience that I’m about to share. In the parable of the Good Shepherd, Jesus makes it crystal clear that you can’t hear His voice unless you’ve received Him into your life. He is THE DOOR. (John 10:7-11) He isn’t some catch-all phrase to justify self-driven decisions. “…He goes before them & the sheep follow because they know His voice…a stranger they simply will not follow…but will flee…because they do not know the voice of strangers…I am the good shepherd; & I know My own, & My own know Me…My sheep hear My voice, & I know them & they follow me; & I give eternal life to them,& they shall never perish; & no one shall snatch them out of My hand.”( vs 3-5,14,27-28)
I believe the Spirit testifies to Biblical Truth, in indwelt believers, when they hear it. But God will NEVER tell you to do something contrary to what is already stated in His Word. When God spoke to me as I lay a weeping mess on the floor, it wasn’t some booming voice or some weird aberration in my imagination. I recognized Him. The words that came into my mind didn’t go against Scripture. And, I couldn’t have dreamed up what He whispered -- no matter how hard I tried. This was a defining, life-changing moment for me. He gave me my spiritual marching orders. In my deep sense of abandonment, I heard this: “Embrace the pain. Do not run from it. Milk it, (I pictured a cow) squeezing everything out that you can learn from it. I AM IN THE PAIN. If you run from it, you will miss me.”
Without talking much about it, my mom embraced a great deal of painful trials in her lifetime. But neither she nor my dad were crabby people. Pain didn’t make them bitter. They were loyal to the core. And they were tender-hearted. My mom was a praying, believing, never-give-up-on-God’s Word-and- promises kind of woman…to her grave. Even when things didn’t happen on her timetable. I am a more resolved person because of her unwavering faith. She is in my personal “triumphs of faith.” (See Hebrews 11)
Embracing pain has been my life message ever since that cold March evening by the furnace vent. Initially, I thought that God was referring to physical loss through death. Over time I learned that there are losses far worse than death, that I am required to live in daily, on behalf of other people for the purpose of forgiveness & prayer. Rarely a day goes by that God doesn’t remind me that my Savior lived embracing pain & suffering & grief for those He loved. His life-giving Words have sustained me through some of the hardest situations in my life, to date. But I’ll never get used to the reality of embracing pain. It will always hurt. Am I thankful for it? Not necessarily in the moment. But God has seasoned me enough in the lesson to recognize He’s at work, refining me continually. As I trust His love & faithfulness proven in His Word, no matter how I might be feeling in the moment, He reminds me that Jesus’ life on earth wasn’t a walk in the park. Most folks misread His intentions, misinterpreted & misquoted His Words, & some deserted Him in His greatest hour of pain. During His defining moments of grappling with God’s will in the garden, the disciples fell asleep…twice! And who stood at the Cross? A precious few who were not ashamed or afraid-- that’s it! Jesus learned obedience (submission/total dependence on His Father) through suffering. (Hebrews 5:8) Why would I ever presume to think I deserve an easy, predictable, carefree life?
As unappealing as unsuspecting prospects for growth might be, humanly speaking, I have learned that the most life-altering, freeing lessons are massaged into our lives through pain. In Christ, pain has an eternal purpose. Pain reveals our weakness & inability to help ourselves. Pain reveals our need, if we aren’t too proud to admit it. Pain can be a teaching tool, if we don’t resist the correction process. Pain can be a bridge to experiencing God’s great love, in Christ. Pain can Glorify God…which is the ultimate purpose for His children. So, I will continue marching, reminded daily that He sees all that concerns me & works to accomplish His purposes in my life.
“The Christian life is not about our own capacity and ability, but about God’s; not about who we are, but who He is; not about what we have to offer, but what He offers, which is all of Himself, if we are as available to Christ as Christ was available to His Father.” (page 124 THE INDWELLING LIFE OF CHRIST—W. Ian Thomas)

Listen to the audio version of this essay:
My experience as a writer, this message will fall on mostly deaf ears. Why? Because the immovable Truth stands like a resolute sentinel, unwavering and unyielding - causing those who choose to live in lies to refute anything that gets in the way of their condition of being a person of lies.
These individuals are ensnared by the comfortable illusion of their deceptions, creating an echo chamber that drowns out the clarion call of reality. In their world, lies weave a protective cocoon, shielding them from the discomfort and disruption that the Truth would bring. Thus, even when faced with irrefutable evidence, their minds remain closed, and their hearts unmoved, preferring the fragile stability of falsehoods over the transformative power of truth.
Liars possess a deceptive mastery in reconditioning falsehoods to resemble the Truth. They skillfully weave intricate narratives, blend half-truths with outright fabrications, and employ persuasive rhetoric to manipulate perceptions. By cloaking their lies in the guise of authenticity and credibility, they create a convincing facade that obscures reality. This calculated manipulation exploits the human tendency to trust what appears consistent and plausible, making it difficult for the untrained eye to discern deception from genuine truth. In this elaborate dance of deceit, lies are repackaged to not only look and sound like Truth but to erode the very foundation of trust upon which Truth stands.
The United States Constitution can be seen as a secular "Bible" for the nation, establishing the foundational truths and principles upon which the country stands.
It delineates the core values of liberty, justice, and equality, serving as a guiding framework for governance and societal norms. Much like a sacred text, it provides a moral compass, setting forth the ideals and responsibilities of citizens and leaders alike. Through its amendments and interpretations, the Constitution evolves to address contemporary issues while remaining anchored in the enduring truths that define the nation's identity and purpose.
POLITICS IS KNOWN FOR HOSTING LIARS
The world of politics is often perceived as a stage where deception and manipulation thrive. Politicians, driven by ambition and the pursuit of power, sometimes resort to bending the truth or outright lying to achieve their goals. This environment fosters a culture of mistrust, where the line between fact and fiction becomes blurred. As a result, the public's faith in political leaders and institutions can erode, leading to cynicism and disillusionment. In this intricate dance of rhetoric and reality, the challenge lies in discerning genuine intentions from calculated falsehoods.
Our country has recently navigated one of the most deceptive periods in America's political history. This era has been marked by widespread misinformation, political scandals, and a pervasive erosion of trust in public institutions. The manipulation of facts and the deliberate spread of falsehoods have created a climate of confusion and division, challenging the very foundations of our democracy. As we move forward, it is crucial to reaffirm our commitment to truth, transparency, and accountability to restore faith in our political system.
"But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron…" (1 Timothy 4:1-2)
Our starting place: All humans are born into sin. Secondly, all humans have flesh, which leans toward lies. I believe a lie is telling a truth that hides the full impact of organic TRUTH. It is safe to say that all people hate lies because they hate being lied to. Even liars demand you tell them the truth, provided you leave Jesus out of the scenario. The general population, saved or not, despises absolute Truth, using people and making them victims of their manipulation and hypocrisy. Yes, the one telling a lie and the compulsive liar is guilty of manipulation and hypocrisy. But few are willing to admit to this.
ONE WHO LIES IS AN INDIVIDUAL WHO CHOOSES TO LIE. A LIAR IS SOMEONE WHO LIES AS A LIFESTYLE AND HAS NO CONTROL OVER THEIR LYING. ULTIMATELY, A LIAR BECOMES UNAWARE THAT THEY ARE LYING. THE HIGHEST PERCENTAGE OF CHRISTIANS TOUT INTEGRITY. EACH ONE DECLARES THAT ‘THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.’ IT MAKES THEM FEEL LIKE PEOPLE OF TRUTH, EXEMPTED FROM LYING BECAUSE THEY FEEL CONTEMPT FOR IT. IF THE TRUTH ALWAYS SETS US FREE, WHY DO WE HABITUATE LIES OR ALINE OURSELVES WITH THOSE WHO LIE?
The flesh propagates that lying sets us free.
It enables many Christians to avoid brokenness - so they cut corners. It removes the pain that comes with living in Truth. Lying liberates one from the burden and embarrassment of reconciling with others they honestly offended through their Christianized platitudes (lies). Lies evolve from demanding “rights” over that of absolutes that include persecution for standing for and in TRUTH. The flesh finds freedom in avoiding the challenging mandates of the Holy Scriptures. So…we lie. Sin forms in the Christian’s life by holding onto hate and unforgiveness. Unforgiveness becomes a diverse tactic in avoiding the real issue; people of TRUTH suffer when being immovable.
Frequently, Christians lie to maintain an image of Truth, fully knowing that what they do is an abomination to the Lord. Why? Because there are tradeoffs.
What is the most common form of lying for Christians? Silence and Christianized platitudes. Christians who do not own the truth that they’re either lying or possibly liars are duped into thinking they are protecting an image of integrity that doesn't exist. Remember, integrity is “the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles and moral uprightness.”
Lying isn’t just the avoidance of Truth; it’s also a distortion of the person of Truth (Jesus), which becomes a confession of lying to the face of Jesus. Liars try to get away with this by trivializing the inconvenient Truths of Jesus while overemphasizing the Biblical Truths that serve them. It is the most common method for developing a hypocrite. The not-so-funny thing is that hypocrites are almost always referenced in the Word as liars.
AVOIDING LYING = LIVING OUT THE BIBLE
Living according to a Constitution, whether it be the Holy Bible or the US Constitution, anchors individuals and society to fundamental principles and values of TRUTH. The Holy Bible offers spiritual guidance, moral teachings, and a sense of purpose, shaping the character and conduct of those who embrace its teachings. Unfolding the Final Days and Hours
The love letter, the book of Revelation, written by the Apostle John, provides a vivid and real-to-life portrayal of the end times. It reveals the ultimate triumph of God over evil and the establishment of His eternal KINGDOM. This essay explores the final days and hours as depicted in Revelation, highlighting key events and their significance.
The Great Apostacy
The Great Apostasy, as described in the Bible, is a significant falling away from the faith and belief in Yeshua/Jesus that occurs just before the Rapture. This period is characterized by widespread deception, false teachings, and a general abandonment of true indwelt Christian beliefs. Jesus warned of this in Matthew 24:10-12, where He spoke of many falling away, betraying one another, and the love of many growing cold due to increased lawlessness.
The Apostle Paul also addressed this in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, stating that the day of the Lord will not come unless the rebellion, or apostasy, comes first. This apostasy is not merely a rebellion against societal norms but a deliberate departure from the core tenets of indwelt Christianity by those who once professed faith. It serves as a precursor to the revealing of the Antichrist and the subsequent events leading up to the Rapture, where true believers will be gathered to meet Yeshua in the air.
We are in this phase today!
The Rapturing of The Saints
The Rapture is a glorious event eagerly anticipated by believers, marking the moment when Yeshua returns in the air to gather His faithful followers. As described in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then, those who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
This divine gathering signifies the ultimate reunion with Yeshua, where believers will be transformed and receive their glorified bodies, free from the limitations of earthly existence. The Rapture represents the fulfillment of God’s promise to rescue His people from the coming wrath Jehovah will pour upon the Antichrist and his followers, ushering them into an eternal, joyous fellowship with their Savior. This event fills believers with hope and excitement, as they look forward to the day when they will be forever united with Yeshua in His glorious presence.
The Great Tribulation
The final days begin with the Great Tribulation, a period of intense suffering and persecution - oppression under the hand of the Antichrist. Revelation 6-18 describes a series of judgments, including the seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls. These judgments bring about natural disasters, wars, and plagues, demonstrating God’s wrath against sin and rebellion. The Antichrist rises to power during this time, deceiving many and persecuting believers (Revelation 13).
The Second Coming of Christ
The climax of Revelation is the Second Coming of Christ. In Revelation 19, John describes Jesus returning on a white horse, leading the armies of heaven. He defeats the Antichrist and his forces at the Battle of Armageddon, establishing His reign on earth. This event marks the end of the Great Tribulation and the beginning of Christ’s millennial kingdom (Revelation 19:11-21).
The Millennial Reign
Following His return, Christ establishes a thousand-year reign on earth, known as the Millennium. During this period, Satan is bound and unable to deceive the nations (Revelation 20:1-3). The saints reign with Christ, experiencing a time of peace and righteousness. At the end of the Millennium, Satan is released for a short time, leading a final rebellion against God. This rebellion is swiftly crushed, and Satan is cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:7-10).
The Final Judgment
The final hours of Revelation culminate in the Great White Throne Judgment. All the dead are resurrected and stand before God to be judged according to their deeds. Those whose names are not found in the Book of Life are cast into the lake of fire, experiencing eternal separation from God (Revelation 20:11-15). This judgment signifies the ultimate defeat of sin and death.
The New Heaven and New Earth
The book of Revelation concludes with the creation of a New Heaven and a New Earth. John sees the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending from heaven, adorned like a bride for her husband (Revelation 21:1-2). This city represents the eternal dwelling place of God with His people, where there is no more death, mourning, crying, or pain. The former things have passed away, and God declares, “Behold, I am making all things new” (Revelation 21:5).
The final days and hours in the book of Revelation reveal God’s ultimate plan for humanity and creation. Through the Rapture, the Great Tribulation, the Second Coming of Christ, the Millennial Reign, the Final Judgment, and the creation of a New Heaven and New Earth, God’s justice, mercy, and sovereignty are displayed. Believers can find hope and assurance in the promise of eternal life with God, free from sin and suffering - FOREVER & EVER.
