LIBERTY IN HIS NAME
True Liberty Is Found in the Name of Yeshua.
In a nation that equates liberty with autonomy and self-expression, Scripture offers a radically different definition: true liberty is found in surrender to Yeshua, the Messiah. His name—Yeshua, meaning “salvation”—is not merely a title but a declaration of divine rescue from the bondage of sin, fear, and death.
Freedom from Sin, Not Freedom to Sin.
Yeshua declared, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36). This freedom is not a license to indulge the flesh, but a liberation from its tyranny. Paul shouts this out in Romans 6:22:
“But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.”
True liberty is not found in doing whatever we please—it’s found in doing what pleases God, empowered by His Spirit.
The Law of Liberty.
James calls the Word of God the “perfect law of liberty” (James 1:25), revealing that obedience to Yeshua is not restrictive—it’s restorative. His commands are not burdensome (1 John 5:3); they are the pathway to peace, purpose, and purity.
Liberty Through the Spirit.
Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 3:17:
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
This freedom is not external—it’s internal through His indwelling Life. It’s the Spirit of Yeshua dwelling within, breaking chains of shame, addiction, and despair.
The Cross: Liberty’s Gate
The cross is the ultimate paradox: a place of death that births life, a symbol of suffering that secures freedom. Through Yeshua’s sacrifice, we are no longer slaves to the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2). We are adopted, redeemed, and released.
To invoke the name of Yeshua is to call upon the One who liberates the soul. His name is not just a theological concept—it is the key that unlocks the prison doors of the heart/soul. In Him, we find freedom not just from something, but for something: to walk in righteousness, to love without fear, and to live as citizens of a Kingdom that cannot be shaken.
Lyrics to our new song:
"Liberty in His Name"
By Stephen Phinney | Vocalist Tony Townshed.
(Verse 1)
On the fields of freedom, banners rise,
But hearts still bound in silent cries.
Let not this day be just a spark,
If the Word is absent from our hearts.
(Pre-Chorus)
He gave us truth that sets men free,
Not just from tyrants, but sin’s decree.
The cross, not cannons, brought the flame
That lights the soul in Yeshua’s name.
(Chorus)
Yeshua defends what freedom means,
When nations bow to righteous dreams.
If Independence yields to grace,
His holiness will guard this place.
Not by strength or flag unfurled,
But by His Spirit shaking the world.
(Verse 2)
From Sinai’s fire to Calvary’s hill,
He spoke of freedom, love, and will.
The founders dreamed, but Christ fulfilled
What liberty the law could not instill.
(Bridge)
Let Scripture lead our celebration,
Truth, not pride, our firm foundation.
The Lamb who died, the King who reigns—
In Him, our liberty remains.
(Final Chorus)
Yeshua defends each sacred right
When hearts are yielded to His light.
So let our anthem rise and say:
Freedom stands when God leads the way!

Until next time…
It is with deep honor and personal reverence that I dedicate this reading of the Declaration of Independence to my grandfather on my grandmother’s side, Samuel Chase—a patriot, jurist, and signer of this very document.
His unwavering commitment to liberty, justice, and the founding principles of our nation lives on not only in the ink of his signature but in the legacy he left for generations to come. As I give voice to the words he helped bring to life, I do so with gratitude for his sacrifice and conviction, and with a renewed resolve to uphold the freedoms he so fiercely believed in.
Thank you, grandpa, for your loyalty to our nation and the living God!
The Declaration of Independence, though a political document, resonates deeply with biblical values that shaped the worldview of many of America’s Founding Fathers. At its core, the Declaration affirms that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights—a truth that mirrors Genesis 1:27, where humanity is described as being made in the image of God (imago Dei). This foundational belief in the divine origin and dignity of every person undergirds both the biblical storyline and the Declaration’s moral authority.
The document’s assertion that rights such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are not granted by governments but by God.
The declaration aligns with Scriptures, such as Psalm 139:13-14, which celebrate the sacredness of life from the moment of conception. The idea that liberty is a God-given right finds support in passages like Galatians 5:1—“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” The pursuit of happiness, while not a biblical phrase, reflects the biblical concept of shalom—a Holy peace and flourishing that comes from living in alignment with God’s design for all of humanity, not just Americans.
Moreover, the Declaration’s emphasis on government by consent and the right to resist tyranny mirrors biblical principles of just leadership and accountability. In Exodus 18:21, Moses is instructed to appoint leaders who are capable, God-fearing, trustworthy, and just—qualities that reflect the Declaration’s call for governance that serves the people, not oppresses them. Romans 13 affirms that God establishes all authority, but it also implies that rulers are accountable to Him and must govern righteously.
Finally, the Declaration’s appeal to “the Supreme Judge of the world” and “firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence” reveals a profound dependence on God’s justice and sovereignty.
This language reflects the biblical conviction that God is not only Creator but also the ultimate arbiter of right and wrong, and that human freedom must be exercised under His moral law, the Holy Word of God.
In sum, the Declaration of Independence is not a theological document, but it is undeniably shaped by a biblical worldview—one that affirms human dignity, divine justice, and the sacred responsibility of both rulers and citizens.

“For Such a Time as This:” A Call to Stand with IOM America!
Dear Friends in Christ,
In this crucial hour, we reach out with both faith and urgency. As the summer months unfold, the work of IOM America stands at a crossroads. The harvest is plentiful—souls are seeking truth, healing, and transformation—but the resources are few.
We believe God has positioned you—yes, you—for such a time as this (Esther 4:14). Your partnership enables us to carry the message of Christ's identity, freedom, and grace to a hurting world through discipleship, counseling, and life-changing resources.
Paul once urged the Corinthians: “Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means” (2 Corinthians 8:11). In that same spirit, we invite you to join hands with us in generosity this June and July. Your gift—whether large or small—helps bridge the gap between vision and victory.
This is not just giving—it’s sowing into eternal impact.Lives are being changed. Hearts are being renewed. But the mission cannot move forward without your response.
Will you stand with us now?
With gratitude and expectation,Stephen Phinney

THE THREE KINGDOMS
At IOM America, our mission is to proclaim the truth of the indwelling Life of Yeshua, equipping believers to walk in Christ-centered identity through powerful discussions and biblical insight. Through our podcasts, we explore faith, discipleship, and the prophetic unfolding of end-times events, calling listeners to stand firm in the truths of Scripture.
Today’s Podcast
In this powerful episode of The Three Kingdoms, we explore the deep spiritual conflict that unfolds when two individuals struggle for control over the third kingdom—their relationship itself. Whether in marriage, friendship, or partnerships, human nature often drives us to claim authority over what ultimately belongs to Yeshua.
The conversation delves into the battle of wills, where personal desires, pride, and fear lead two people to wrestle for dominance rather than surrendering their bond to Christ. As tensions rise, the episode reveals how self-reliance and control distort relationships, pulling them away from God's intended design. However, through biblical insight and raw testimony, the discussion turns toward redemption, surrender, and the power of the Exchanged Life—where true unity can only be found in handing the third kingdom back to its rightful King.
Listeners will be challenged to examine their own relationships, recognizing where personal ambition may be overshadowing the presence of Yeshua. Through faith-centered wisdom, this episode offers a transformative perspective on letting go, trusting fully in God's sovereignty, and allowing Him to reign over the relationships He has given us.

Article II, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution outlines the powers and responsibilities of the President of the United States.
It establishes the President as the Commander-in-Chief of the military, granting authority over the Army, Navy, and state militias when called into service. The section also gives the President the power to grant pardons and reprieves, except in cases of impeachment.
Additionally, it defines the President’s role in foreign affairs, allowing them to make treaties with other nations, provided two-thirds of the Senate approves. The President also has the authority to nominate ambassadors, Supreme Court justices, and other federal officers, but these appointments require Senate confirmation.
This section ensures a balance of power, as the President must seek advice and consent from the Senate for key decisions, reinforcing accountability and oversight within the executive branch…

There is profound power in supporting our brothers and sisters in Christ. When we uplift one another—through prayer, encouragement, presence, or practical help—we become living extensions of God’s love on earth. Scripture tells us that when one member suffers, all suffer together, and when one is honored, all rejoice together (1 Corinthians 12:26). That’s the beauty of the body of Christ: no one walks alone.
In a world growing colder, our unity becomes a blazing testimony of God’s kingdom, and I want to burn up a need my sister has.
I met Wendy here on Substack. She became one of my first Subscribers. As I got to know her, I realized she was a female version of me - blunt, passionate about Christ, and full of it. We have become fast friends.
At 73 years of age, living alone and struggling to make ends meet - living hand to mouth, I would like to blow her socks off by recruiting fifty “one-time” supporters of $5+, and ten monthly supporters at the tune of $10+. This will assist in “stopping the bleeding.”
I need your help to accomplish this gift from the Lord!
Prayerfully consider joining my little campaign and give through the link below. While she never complains, my heart breaks for her regarding her needs. Please consider helping in this expression of love.
Wendy in her own words:
I’m a self-described “blunt Oregon girl” on Substack, writing candidly about the chaos of the sexual revolution and the damage it inflicted on me, my Boomer generation, and those who followed. A returned Prodigal to the faith of Jesus Christ, I am a conservative elder, born in 1952.
My mission is to “encourage the discouraged.” My core ministry reaches the brokenhearted and the working poor—a group I’ve been part of for over 40 years. I have deep compassion for the financially overwhelmed, which is why I keep my minimum donation under $5. I know the value of even a single dollar. Sometimes, the simple act of giving one or two dollars is a revolutionary act.
I also share my lifelong love of all things fabric, garments, style, and makeup.
Stay tuned—this is going to be fun. Visit her Substack HERE.

FATHERLESS CHILDREN
Woe to the land where fathers have vanished, and children grow without their guiding hand. As America faces the painful reality of fatherlessness, the words of Malachi 4:6 echo with urgency:
“He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction."
A nation weakened by absent fathers is a nation in need of restoration. Without the leadership and love that God designed within the family, generations wander without direction, longing for an identity rooted in truth. Yet, there is hope—where earthly fathers fail, the Heavenly Father remains, calling the broken home and offering the strength to heal a fractured society.
WHERE ARE ALL THE NEHEMIAHS
Since the days of my youth, the weight of fatherlessness has pressed upon my heart—a burden not chosen, but one embraced out of deep pain & conviction. I have seen the longing in the eyes of children searching for guidance, yearning for the steady hand of a father who was absent.
Their struggles became my mission, their cries my call to action. As I walked through the years, I carried their sorrow, spoke truth where silence echoed, and sought to stand in the gap - thus, my life’s work on the life of Biblical Nehemiah.
It is not an easy road, but it is one paved with purpose, led by the unwavering love of a Heavenly Father who NEVER abandons His children. This burden has shaped me, and though the journey is heavy, I press on, knowing that even in the smallest acts of compassion, restoration begins.
While it would be easy to blame “deadbeat dads,” there is a host of cultural issues that contribute to this demise.
Fatherlessness is a growing crisis with deep societal consequences. Here are seven key reasons why so many children grow up without fathers:
* Breakdown of Marriage & Family Structure – Divorce rates and the decline of traditional family values have led to more single-parent households.
* Cultural Shifts & Changing Priorities – Society increasingly promotes independence over family commitment, making fatherhood seem optional rather than essential.
* Feminism and Female Dominance – Since men are designed to lead, under the new cultural norm of female dominance, fathers frequently pull away from their families, leading to absentee parenting.
* Government Policies & Welfare Systems – Some welfare programs unintentionally discourage father involvement by providing financial incentives for single-parent households.
* Deadbeat Dad Syndrome – A significant number of fathers are absent due to selfishness, independence, the lust for women, power, imprisonment, and leaving children without paternal guidance.
* Substance Abuse & Lack of Mentorship Issues – Addiction and untreated spiritual & mental health struggles prevent many fathers from being present and engaged.
* Generational Cycles of Fatherlessness—Children raised without fathers often struggle to model healthy fatherhood themselves, perpetuating the cycle. What was once the loneliest place of boyhood becomes their greatest offense passed down to their children.
The impact of fatherlessness is devastating, affecting children's emotional well-being, spiritual formation, academic success, and future relationships. Addressing these root causes is crucial for restoring strong Biblical families and Christ-centered communities.
AFFECTS UPON SPIRITUALITY
From the beginning, Satan's goal has been to sever the connection between man and God the Father, knowing that when a man is detached from his Creator, he loses his identity, purpose, and strength.
The enemy works relentlessly to undermine fatherhood, for in destroying the bond between father and child, he distorts the very image of God’s love, authority, and connectivity to God as the ultimate Father, let alone destroying what Satan hates - family.
Thus, with his depraved goal, Satan reduces salvation to a bare minimum.
Broken homes, absent fathers, and lost sons are not merely social consequences—they are spiritual battles waged against the foundation of God’s design. But where Satan seeks destruction, God offers restoration. Through Christ, hearts can be turned back, families healed, and the legacy of faith rebuilt. The enemy may try to divide, but the Father's love is relentless in its pursuit of His children.
In this, we discover my favorite Bible verse:
Malachi 4:6 (ESV) says: "And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction."
This is such an important principle to God: if relationships between fathers and their children are NOT restored, God WILL destroy the nations utterly. Reader, this is the reason for the End Times prophecies. You read that right: all of the End Times events pivot on this single sin of unforgiveness.
Restoring the bond between a father and his children requires intentional steps rooted in Biblical principles. Here are some practical actions they can take:
* Prioritize Time Together – Deuteronomy 6:7 encourages fathers to teach their children diligently. Spending quality time together restores connection and trust.
* If Unsaved, get Saved - True reconciliation and restoration are impossible without hosting the Holy Spirit from within. That is called salvation.
* Release Forgiveness – Colossians 3:13 reminds us to forgive as the Lord forgave us. Healing begins when both father and child extend grace to one another.
* Engage in Prayer Together – Matthew 18:20 teaches that where two or more gather in His name, He is present. Praying together strengthens spiritual unity.
* Lead by Example – Proverbs 22:6 instructs fathers to train up a child in the way they should go. Living out faith authentically inspires children to follow.
* Encourage Open Communication – James 1:19 advises being quick to listen and slow to speak. Honest conversations build understanding and trust.
* Study Scripture Together – Psalm 119:105 says God’s Word is a lamp to our feet. Reading the Bible together deepens faith and strengthens relationships.
* Serve Others as a Family – Galatians 5:13 calls us to serve one another in love. Volunteering together rebuilds unity and teaches compassion.
* Express Love & Affirmation – 1 Thessalonians 5:11 encourages us to build each other up. Fathers should affirm their children’s worth and identity in Christ.
* Seek Wise Counsel – Proverbs 11:14 highlights the importance of Christ-as-Life guidance. Seeking mentorship or pastoral advice can help navigate challenges.
* Commit to Reconciliation – 2 Corinthians 5:18 speaks of God’s ministry of reconciliation. A father and child must actively pursue healing and restoration.
These Biblical actions can help mend broken relationships and strengthen the bond between fathers and their children. If you want all that you have to be destroyed by the living God, keep refusing to take action. Not only that, keep your eye on the world as it implodes in and upon itself. The depravity you see in the world today hinges on this single prophecy.

OBESSESED WITH APPROVAL
Why do we seek approval from others when we have the full acceptance of Yeshua?
Most churches + society teach that validation comes from achievement, status, relationships, or the praise of others—but this deception leads only to emptiness, exhaustion, and dependence on shifting opinions.
Today’s Podcast
When we seek approval outside of Yeshua, we become enslaved to expectations set by those we seek it from, allowing the voices of humanity to define our worth rather than the eternal truth of our Creator, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit who lives within all authentic believers.
True approval—lasting, unshakable, and rooted in the power of the Cross—comes only through Him, via His pure acceptance at salvation. Yeshua does not measure our value by worldly success, Christianized behavior, outward appearances, or the applause of crowds. He calls us beloved, chosen, accepted, and redeemed, not because of what we do but because of who He is. Seeking validation elsewhere places us in a cycle of constant striving, but in Him, we find freedom, peace, and the confidence to walk boldly in our purpose. To live for the approval of man is to live in bondage—but to live through the approval of Yeshua is to live in true freedom.
"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." Romans 12:1

TELLING OTHERS HOW TO LIVE
Why do we “feel” we have the prerogative to tell others how to act and live?
It is a flaw deeply embedded in human nature—the desire to dictate how others should live, how we ourselves should operate, and even how God should act according to our understanding.
Today’s Podcast
We craft expectations, believing that we know best, that our wisdom is sufficient, and that our perspective is absolute. We impose standards upon others, judging their choices, insisting on their conformity to what we deem correct. We set rigid expectations for ourselves, convinced that self-mastery alone will bring fulfillment. And perhaps most dangerously, we try to fit God into our framework, expecting Him to move according to our plans rather than submitting ourselves fully to His sovereignty.
But reality always humbles us. We do not hold the keys to truth, wisdom, or divine authority. Our control is an illusion; our understanding is limited. God is sovereign, and it is not for us to demand or dictate His ways—but to trust, obey, and follow where He leads. The way forward is not through commanding others, redefining ourselves, or questioning God’s wisdom—it is through surrender, humility, and indwelling faith. Only when we release our grip on control do we truly find freedom—freedom to live as we were created to, in alignment with His perfect will.
One of humanity’s greatest struggles is the desire to control—not only our own lives but the lives of others, and even the ways of God Himself.
