Time is money, and in our day and age if you waste someone’s time, you are wasting their money. Well listen to the latest podcast from Camille and Michael and listen how to break these bad habits and be early and respectful to others time.
“Promised” is a unique project full of mystery conveyed through the images taken as a woman transforms into a bride-to-be. It raises every question, from what will become of a modern woman’s freedom to whether or not the marriage is arranged, and only the beholder can decide what they believe is the end of the story. So rarely do we look at the metamorphosis a woman goes through in one pivotal day!
As you can see around you that we have done a major change to our brand, business, and our site. Change at times can be either a good or bad thing, we Michael and Camille have some things to say about this and it is a great podcast on why change is good, or bad, or even a thing now these days!
So take a listen to what is going on and what effect this will have with us here. A great listen with our Senior Photographer, Michael Ali and our Creative Director, Camille Forté.
This is going to be one of the weirdest blogs/podcasts that we have done in the past couple of years, but believe me, it is worth it to read/listen to this.
A couple weeks ago a friend of Camille’s passed away, and when she went to read the obituary, there was only a photo of him DJing days at the club. So Camille and I decided to do a short podcast on the importance of having a decent headshot, even for your family. Now these days, in the Web 3.0 world that we live in, it is more important than ever to have a head shot of yourself, and when I say headshot I am speaking of one that is presentable and useable; not the one of yourself in a club, bar, sporting event or even a “selfie.”
The reason is that when we do pass away, we want to make sure that we leave our loved ones pictures that can be used for people to pay proper respect to them. Over the years I have seen people that have passed on but when it comes time for the services, there is no recent or even decent photo of the dearly departed that can be used. Now you want to ask yourself, “is this even worth my time?” The answer is yes…
You want to in your life whether it is with a smartphone or even your point-and-shoot to at least take a decent headshot that can be used. Now the last thing that you want is that someone is using your drivers license or even your passport photo. So do yourself a favor and get out there and at least get either some professional headshots done or even have some available just in case.
So today Michael and Camille are talking about weddings. What you should look for, ask for, know, and be aware of when hiring a photographer and what you can do to make your special day even more special and drama free. This is a basic know of for people that are taking that leap and want to know what they should do before their special day. As always Michael and Camille bring to the podcast their knowledge, experience and humor to educate and have fun in the process of how weddings are.
As always Michael and Camille are always available to answer any questions that you have so please be sure to send a shout out to them with any questions.
So today is Halloween and coming up this Monday (or expect for our weekend warriors out there!) you will have the chance to post your favorite parties, costumes, tricks, or even treats but is everything kosher in our digital age to post online. What is safe and non safe, PC or not PC for social media. Both Michael and Camille will go into detail on some get tips for this year online social media posting of your Halloween pictures. During the Podcast you will hear what is the best way to approach these choices and as well the proper way to tag others and when not to and why! Trust us this is one that you do not want to miss
This Podcast deals with the growing division of social media and professional sites and your headshot. What does your headshot say? to who? what is it saying? and how it can impact what others may think of you both professionally and personally. Camille and I explore some of the pros/cons and other things that can go into this and as well with humor and funny banter about what you can do to improve your headshot and separate your professional pictures from your personal ones.
This a long than usual Podcast but we promise you that you will walk away thinking what do I need to do to better market myself and better my view both on social media and professional media.
As how any industry grows, so does people believing that they know this craft. Listen to our podcast to know what to look for in a photographer as well what questions to ask. Both Michael and Camille will address some questions to ask, things to look out for and be aware of before hiring a photographer to capture your moments.
