In #39, Kelly and Jessica had on friend of the pod Heather Marulli to watch the 80's classic "Heathers." Get it? Because her name is Heather too! The film didn't hold up in our opinion and made us feel kind of shitty after. But in the pod we still had fun, we talked about high school for us and goofed around. Overall a fun pod, have a listen!

In #38 Jessica and Kelly dive into watching 47 Meters Down with Ellen Clifford and Shaughn Buchholz. Is it as funny as you thought it'd be? Not really. Movie kind of takes itself way too seriously, but let me tell you we had a blast talking about it! Fortunately, Mandy Moore swam to safety landing a role in "This is Us" or else her career might've been for the fishes -- is this enough water lingo for you?! Listen to the pod. Don't let us blabbering in the episode confuse you it is actually episode 36! Jessica and Kelly had on pal of the pod Papp Johnson and they watched Black Panther. Hey see Black Panther. It's pretty much the perfect superhero film -- action, laughs, a message, and not one but TWO shirtless fight scenes (Kelly was in her glory). Very fun episode. Papp would argue that Jess and Kelly are now apart of "Wokekanda" now. Wakanda Forever.

In #35, Jess and Kelly watch I, Tonya on a bootleg thanks to Pirate Captain/Friend of pod/Guest Carlos Luis Delgado! Took some bong hits, got very stoned, and realized how great of a movie I, Tonya is. We dissected the filmmaking, the story, the acting, we went deep with this pod and had a whole lot of fun. Did you love the movie? Have a listen to the pod and you'll see why we think this movie rules! In a very special episode of IMDweed, Jess and Kelly just discuss their opinions of the Golden Globe winners and losers. Was Kelly happy that James Franco won? You betcha. Were there upsets? You bet your Ladybird ass there was. But we can all agree on one thing: Natalie Portman is the fucking Queen. Have a listen and tell us who you were excited to win/lose! Hosted on Acast.
