You already know what it is! So many 2023 games to discuss we're doing two of the dang thangs.

Happy holly days! Join the boys as they discuss their beloved Metal Gears Solid, specifically the three games featured in the new collection. Laugh along as they recount their initial impressions of all the crazy goings-on, and decide if the games hold up in the wake of a very stacked year of releases. Music: G. Frederick Editing: J. Brown
Whoa! It's 2023! And these boys played some damn video games in 2022. And you're gonna hear about it! Join the gang as they discuss the year in their cute little hobby for children, including God of War, Immortality, Barotrauma, Tactics Ogre, Elden Ring, Signalis, Vampire Survivors, Shredder's Revenge, Kirby, Mario Strikers, Fortnite, Splatoon 3, Tunic, Cult of the Lamb, Stray, and many more! OK, those are actually most of the games we talked about, there aren't many more, I lied. Sorry.

Soulslikes. You've heard of em. You have at least one friend who won't shut up about them. You've seen a bunch of memes repurposed with fantastical beasts and quips about maidenless behavior, but none of it makes any sense to you. You're lost. An explorer without a light in the darkness.
Fear not, intrepid gamer, the IMHO boys have come to your rescue. Jesse, Wagner, and Andy sit down and discuss the hottest new game of three months ago and talk about what they'd wish they'd known before beginning their quest to become Elden Lord. Is Elden Ring a game for you? Only by listening to this episode of this podcast can that question be answered.

What do you call a game that plays as if it was released in 1994, but has achievements and save states and costs $14.99 on Steam? You could call it a throwback, but that isn't fun and also doesn't passive aggressively call out the dev team for living in denial about what year it is. The boys discuss their favorite new games that play like old games, and get into a very trivial argument about what should and shouldn't be included in this category.

Ohhh nooo it's another list season and Jesse wants us to talk about our favorite games and we do and that's the way she goes! Featuring audience participation for the first time in IMHORPG history

Did you think we were done? Fool! We're back, baby! In this episode Andy finally gets his own segment, and the fellas discuss the "new normal."

The boys go in on a genre that is so near and dear to their little gamer hearts, the aptly named Metroidvania. Also, Jesse can't quit rating things cold turkey, so Wagner and Andy do a little Jesse Rates as well. Because we love and support our friends, don't we? Isn't that what friendship is all about? And at the end of the day, this is a podcast about friendship.
And now the list you've all been waiting for. Father John Listy himself (Jesse) reveals his personal Three Best Games of 2020. You know the drill. Click play, listen to us, have some laughs, let us know what you think. Or don't! World's gonna keep turning.
The "middle child" of List Season, complete with all of the insecurities and baggage that comes with such a distinction. Just kidding. Wagner renders his final judgement on the Three Best Games of 2020, and all Jesse and Andy can do is listen politely.
