From healing and family to deception, image, and the things people will do to convince others they’re somebody they’re not, this episode goes a lot of different places — but there’s a bigger conversation underneath it all.

I’m officially 31, and this birthday has me looking at life a little differently. In this episode, I talk about what turning 31 means to me, lessons I’m learning, and some advice for anyone who feels like they’re supposed to have everything figured out by a certain age.

I also get into the complicated story surrounding a surrogate, a baby, and a custody battle after the surrogate decided not to have the abortion that was originally expected. We also talk about Carissa Shields and why these situations raise some serious questions about responsibility, choices, and consequences.

And one thing I really want people to take away from this episode: watch what you say on the internet. You never know who is listening, who is watching, or how something you said years ago might come back around.

31 is teaching me that growing up isn’t just about getting older — it’s about becoming more intentional with your choices, your words, and the life you’re building.
