Mark chapter 7 serves as the lead-in to Mark chapter 8, where Peter declares that Jesus is the Messiah.  Mark uses this as the opportunity to show both his Jewish and gentile readers that they need a Savior.

Pastor Jake looks at all of Mark chapter 6, from the execution of John the Baptist to feeding the 5000, and explains the comparison that Mark is making between Herod and the kingship of Jesus.
