A man born blind sits at the temple gate, accustomed to darkness and the routine of begging. When Jesus passes by, everything changes. With mud, water, and a word of authority, Jesus opens the man’s eyes—not only to sight, but to faith. This sermon explores how the story of the man born blind is also our story: born in spiritual blindness, yet led by Christ into the light. Through the gifts Christ gives—especially baptism—God opens our eyes so that we may see Him and live as His people in the world. Immanuel, God with us, serving our neighbor and one another with His love and forgiveness. Growing in faith to share God's Grace with the greater Simpsonville area for more than three decades.
