In this Epiphany sermon on the Beatitudes, Jesus reveals what life with him truly looks like. Drawing from the opening of the Sermon on the Mount, we hear how disciples live in blessedness before God—poor in spirit, mourning, meek, and hungry for righteousness—and how that blessed life turns outward in mercy, purity, peacemaking, and even persecution. This is Jesus speaking for himself, showing us that to share his poverty and suffering is also to share his kingdom, comfort, and joy. Immanuel, God with us, serving our neighbor and one another with His love and forgiveness. Growing in faith to share God's Grace with the greater Simpsonville area for more than three decades.
