A game the family can enjoy together. One where children enjoy the thrill of the hunt and their parents relish an opportunity to drink in peace while they recollect what it was like before they had kids; it's HIDE & SEEK, this week, on Immorally Speaking.

Michael Jackson's Thriller is, arguably, the greatest music video of all time. As a matter of fact, it's the number one defense called upon the "King of Pop"'s character is brought into question: "How could someone who gave us Thriller have done those terrible things?" Well, as we dive deep into the classic song, we learn that Thriller isn't a defense for him rather damning evidence against him. 

As parents, we only want what is best for our kids. With that in mind, we ask why do we sing the horrific threat that is "Rock a Bye, Baby" to those we are tasked with protecting at all costs? A lullaby that, at its core, screams of child negligence and murder. Mother Goose is one twisted bird. 

This episode epitomizes what we're trying to do here. There is no way that the younger versions of ourselves would have seen the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in this light. As we look at them as adults, it gets . . . pornographic. 

The reason we loved The Goonies as children is the same reason that as adults - - - because it took the kid gloves off and spoke to us as grown ups.. It was because we wanted to be a part of the close knit group that we overlooked the red flags to blatant child abuse, bullying, drug trafficking, sexual assault, and murder. It may have been a 1985 PG rating but, by today's standards, it's a hard R.

For centuries, we've known Humpty Dumpty to be nothing more than a klutz lost in a tragic accident. However, when you connect the dots, it doesn't smell of accident but stinks of foul play. Conspiracy is at foot and centers around a kings plot to murder a civil rights activist who, also, happens to be the heir to the throne.

The Super Mario Bros. made plumbing look sexy. Their relationship was not only one of the first, but also a literal "bromance". But what's really going on here? Toxic Masculinity? Friend Zoning? Drugs? We try to make sense of it all on this episode of Immorally Speaking.
