The gospel changes how we relate with others, starting with our family. Headship means sacrificial service, submission means prioritizing the mission, and parenting means leading with grace. Paul embraced pain and suffering so that others could gain by knowing and growing in Christ. Why don’t we do the same? Maybe it's because we’re unwilling to even be inconvenienced or uncomfortable, let alone suffer like he did. But every friend of Jesus is an enemy of this world—and following him will always come at a cost.

him. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, the One who holds the universe—and our lives—together. He shows us who God is and restores his image in us. Don't get distracted by lesser things. It’s all about Jesus. Do you know him?

When the world seems to be falling apart, we must fall back on the hope we have in the good news of Jesus Christ. God is still working in the midst of evil and suffering, redeeming and restoring people to him.
