Known by his nickname Titid, Aristide was a short frail and plain looking man who wore big eyeglasses. This nickname was not for a man of his age but rather of a child. For this reason and more, no one would expect him to have risen to be an international actor with regard to politics.

Ludmilla Paul is a research program analyst at Health Choice Network (HCN). HCN supports a network of community health centers by providing key business services, strategic initiatives, and the latest in health information technology. In her role, she manages health and research programs aimed at improving healthcare delivery and health outcomes. Specifically, she is responsible for the day to day of a Clinical Data Research Network funded by the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). Ludmilla is also involved with the Democratic Club of Broward, serves as a Sant La Fellow, and active social chair for Emory Alumni Association Miami Chapter. She is passionate about human rights and living well.

Kisha Payen is a Haitian-American businesswoman from Brooklyn, New York.  Currently Kisha owns an integrated marketing firm Ameliorate Strategies & Development Group, where she founded Tips & Tea Professionals’ Night Out, and is the co-owner of Skylight Films, a pre and post-production company. She holds a degree in broadcast journalism and is working on her MBA.

A South Florida native, Santra Denis currently serves as the Senior Director of Community Health at Catalyst Miami, an anti-poverty, human services, and civic engagement non-profit organization in Miami, FL.  In her current role Santra oversees all health initiatives and grants to connect low-income families to preventative healthcare options and basic needs services.

She is a Sant La Fellow, a Haitian American Leadership program for young adults in Miami Dade County. Santra is passionate about Haiti and the plight of the Haitian Community.

On this new episode of Impact the Outcome, I tried to shed a light on some of Christophe's achievements in north during his reign. Christophe aspiration for Haiti led not just to the construction of the Citadel and other buildings but also to major initiatives in legal reform and public education, as well as strengthening of ties with British abolitionists. 

On this new episode of Impact The Outcome, I briefly talked about Les Cayes, Haiti and Port Salut as a place to visit. I also mentioned an Haitian proverb, its meaning and some historical background on why that proverb came to be.
