As we embark on the race of the Christian life we often get weary. The Lord will lovingly discipline us. We face trials and temptations. Sometimes we feel like quitting. We must press on. In John 3:3 and Ezekiel 36:26 the glorious doctrine of regeneration is taught. In today's lesson we look at regeneration and the ordo salutis (order of salvation). Salvation begins with God. It is my (Pastor Michael's) prayer that all of us will praise God for His grace and mercy in having the Holy Spirit to draw us to Jesus.

In Hebrews 12:10 we learn that God has a purpose for our trials. He disciplines us in order to prepare us for the multitude of blessings He has prepared for us. While some of these blessings occur in this life, many of them will be realized in the next life. Dig into the Word of God with us and let us be encouraged.
