Today's message is taken from Judges 6:24. Gideon has been chosen to bring victory to God's people but is overwhelmed the task. God speaks peace to Him. He does the same for His people as He leads us to fulfill His purposes for us.

Today's message is taken from Judges 6:24. The first 24 verses are read to set the backdrop. The focus is on the peace that the Lord gives His people. We look at how God called Gideon and how the peaceful answer He gave him provided strength for Gideon to the work God called him to do.

We live in a world where people are restless and want to move on quickly when life gets hard. Today Pastor Michael issues the challenge to remain planted where called has called you and surrender to His plan for your life. These lessons are wonderfully illustrated for us as we look at the life of the prophet Elijah in 1 Kings 17.

In Mark 5:35-34 we learn that our faith does not have to be perfectly developed for Jesus to honor it and recognize it. He is near to the brokenhearted, the sick, and the wounded. He is ready to heal and restore those who reach out to Him.
