Was sitting and talking, with my son, and decided to record it. We talked about stereotypes that boys and girls face, because of peer pressure or pressure from family/friends. In my house I expect and teach my son how to take care of himself. He needs to learn how to brush his teeth, get dressed, or sweep a floor even. It's not going to hurt him to learn basic care. I don't teach him what is beyond his age, but is age appropriate. Also, he can watch shows that have a leading lady or play with a baby doll. It doesn't have to be basketball and football ALL the time. That's what This Talk is about, Stereotypical Expectations and peer pressure.
