Went doooooown the mountain and talked to a bunch of other hikers, to realise how mundane being a hiker is here. Then I finally built my first fire near a river, and felt appeased
I tend to forget how stunning my mountains can be. But today they reminded me, from lac de Gaube to Hourquette pass. And the sun even greeted me a fast hello. A fantastic day on the highest section of the trail
Up, down and up, all of that with 1000 elevation gain and loss, and entirely in a cloud of rain. I found a gorgeous spot to camp near a lake for a 4 degree night
Greetings y'all! This is a surprise episode talking about my 2weeks hike coming tomorrow along the GR10 in the Pyrenees in France! And also mentioning my previous hike.
Damn the VA, I finished now mouahahahahAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH! Ok now that I have sobered up I wanted to clean the description, but i'll leave it like that
Hiked 23km in melting heat, and got surprised by the burra under the tent. Also got to talk with the amazing cyclist and got surprised with beers by my trail angel.

From the publisher's feed
Hi, I'm Cartapouille, a bored french guy who has co-created and hiked the HexaTrek, 3000km to cross France through the mountains in 2022. I previously thru hiked the Via Adriatica in 2020. I also finished a small hike on the French Pyrenees following the GR10 for 150km. Each hike is a separate podcast season here.
Season 1 : Via Adriatica, Season 2: GR10, Season 3 : HexaTrek. Season 4: TransCaucasian Trail scouting
This is a daily short log to reassure my friends and family that I didn't die eaten by a bear or got blown up by a landmine.
