This is the final episode of Season 1. I am so excited to close out Season one, it's been quite a beautiful experience being able to share with you all so far.

Life is so short. Sometimes, we end up losing someone we love, much sooner than we expected. I lost a very special cousin of mine in a motor vehicle accident. His life, though short, had left an indelible and positive mark on my life.

I hope this episode inspires you and gives you the courage to do your best each day. No day is promised. You will also learn a lot about my favorite social media platforms and why I choose the platforms I do, to share!

Marketing roles have been blended a lot in this field. I think it's time we actually sit and differentiate what each role means and how each should be treated. In this episode, I talk about the disconnect between what is expected of those persons in this field versus, what their skillsets actually are. It's not all the time that we are able to fit roles, blend or assimilate to roles that do not match our expertise. I get into a little of what I've experienced in my world of marketing as an individual and I talk about how I've had to set realistic expectation for myself as well!

Understanding your worth is crucial. One word of advice I have for us this year and I mean, anyone listening to this podcast is to treat yourself kindly and understand the value you hold.

Happy 2022! And cheers to all the new beginnings. Without further ado, we had to speak on the Great Resignation. Quite honestly, there's so much more than a lot that went into why and how this began. I hope this episode gives some insight on why this revolution of sorts was important and why some people have chosen this route.

Most of 2021, I paid the price of fitting a narrative, that didn't serve me. I wont say I was a different person, but I was definitely not comfortable with how life was turning out.

I'm happy I unravelled from things and thoughts that no longer served me, and found peace in the process.
