  • "God Who Became Bread" Emily Wierenga

“And when you find Him, He will pull you close and feed you until you feast until you laugh until you

cannot help but pull others close too. The fed becomes the feeder.”

In this absorbing literary memoir, a young woman suffering from a famine of body and soul is led

by the poor to the greatest feast on earth. Emily T. Wierenga, author of Atlas Girl, takes readers

through her own vulnerable journey and invites all who are broken to join her at the table, feast on

the God Who Became Bread, and never go hungry again.

Described as “poetic, raw, and achingly beautiful,” Emily Wierenga’s memoir draws readers into her

intricate and profound world, transporting them from memories of her painful past with anorexia

and troubled relationships, to sacred moments as a wife and mother, to a fellowship of suffering in

African villages. Her deepest hunger is satisfied by the God Who Became Bread—who welcomes us

all to His table so that He can fill us, and then, through us, satisfy the hunger of the world.

Throughout her journey, Emily addresses the difficult topics of food, body image, the brokenness of

the evangelical church, the supernatural joy found in impoverished communities where people are

truly starving, and our gospel responsibility as the church to feed the hungry.

Emily writes, “It is Christ who will fill us, like a Person stepping into us, like the flame from a candle

consuming us, filling every broken part with light.” God Who Became Bread invites everyone to expe-

rience healing, reawaken their hunger for something greater, and discover joy and fulfillment anew

in Jesus’s love and acceptance as we are filled by Him.

Offering rich lessons wrapped in a heart-wrenching narrative, Emily’s story will rejuvenate aching

souls and inspire readers as they find themselves welcomed back to God’s endless and loving feast and

encouraged to feed others in turn.

  • "TODAY is a VERB" - Carol McLeod

AN UPLIFTING DEVOTIONAL ENCOURAGING READERS TO TAKE HOLD OF EACH DAY AND MAKE THE MOST OF EVERY MOMENT.

None of us knows how long we have on this earth. We can’t be sure how many tomorrows God has

planned for us. But we do have today. What if we looked at today in a new light? What if we consid-

ered today as a verb, an action that we can use right now?

In Today Is a Verb: Open the Gift of Now in Every Ordinary Moment, author Carol McLeod asks us

to grab hold of God’s endless gift of time—past, present, and future—and make the most of every

moment and every minute. She calls for each of us to “roll up your sleeves and tackle the business of

living a passionate lifestyle with no regrets,” because “there is no such thing as an unremarkable day

when you know the Lord.” As Carol explains, each moment can be something profound, purposeful,

and precious. We can choose each day to pray, to serve, to hope, to trust, to overcome—the possibil-

    ities are endless.

“If you have been thirsty for a joy that is foreign to your personality and seems to be only a mirage in

the desert of life, I hope this scintillating philosophy will stir up what has been lacking in your life,”

McLeod says. “Perhaps, with me, you would be brave enough to determine to take at least one vibrant

step toward the life for which you have been aching.”

Today Is a Verb can be read as a thirty-day devotional or as a way to revolutionize your life. Each

chapter is based on a key word and includes a life quote, a verse from Scripture, a practical applica-

    tion, and a daily declaration.

Her aesthetic has brought an environment of beauty and joy. Their adaptability and G-D’s guidance created an enduring kind of love.

Along the way, Bill made a study of positive mentality and success factors as he gained the insights to apply change-agent factors to given situations. His strategic thinking and practical implementations led to growing an organization's stock value 5x over three years and to double annual revenue to $244 million. He navigated the acquisition sale and successful sustaining of that company’s culture.

  • Inside Israel, First Hand Knowledge with Jonathan Feldstein Part 1

The alarms were sounding all through our October 1, 2024 interview. The scare came around 20” into the talk. Jonathan had told me that US intelligence informed Israel of an imminent attack from Iran. And Jonathan’s alert went off as the bombs were landing just south of his home. He had to rush down to the bunker from his 7th floor home to meet his family. As you will hear in the interview, 5” before his alarm went off, his daughter said they needed to go to the bunker. Jonathan wanted to wait until his alarm warned him of an attack, so we kept talking. So glad Jonathan and his family are alright and that we were able to pick up where we left off. So please listen so you can separate fact from fiction and appropriately pray for this horrible situation and all the people involved. Blessings! Bruce

The Book of Judges narrates one of the most chaotic and morally dark eras of Israel's story. Into this morally-ambiguous time comes one of the most unlikely leaders of the biblical text—the prophet Deborah. Also a wife, mother, priest, and judge, Deborah responds to her call and transforms chaos into order by leading Israel in one of the most pivotal victories of her time.
