In our final podcast for the year, we reflect on a year of friendship and podcast recordings. We also reflect on the goals we had for 2017 and start to think about New Year's resolutions. It is a month away from Christmas, officially making it the most wonderful time of the year! During the festive season we are encouraged to think about others, so it felt fitting to spend our first Christmas episode discussing causes close to our hearts. We also give thanks in our thanksgiving segment and discuss what Christmas message we would be if we were a Christmas card.

As many of our listeners will know, not only are Madison and Catherine co-hosts, they are also flatmates. In this episode, they reflect on their time in Honey Cottage, their Home for 2017. They discuss the wildlife and rodents they have confronted, washing machine break downs they have lived through and neighbourhood cat politics they have witnessed.

In the last episode of term two, before we take our one week break, we talk about the media. Instead of declaring war on the media like Donald Trump or Taylor Swift, we have a friendly and (kinda) well informed discussion. We talk about who we follow on Instagram and why this is the first thing Madison checks in the morning. IBBT is built on the strong foundation of our friendship. Sometimes the podcast tests its parameters, but in doing so, the podcast manifests as a beautiful testament to the enduring power friendship. So it is only natural for us to record an episode on friendship.

This episode chronicles our friend weekend spent at a farm in the Wairarapa, a discussion about a disastrous year 9 party, toxic friendships and our interview with our first guest, friend and new flat mate, Nicole.
