In this episode I try to explain how the development of classes in our capitalist system stem from commodity production. I also use this as a basis to discuss how the motive production is what develops history and leads to social political and other struggles. In this episode I discuss why so many of our friends, family, coworkers and others in our lives are so incredibly convinced that, firstly, Capitalism developed “naturally” and therefore, secondly, can not be taken down. No matter how bad it gets, no matter how large the gap between rich and poor gets, no matter how many ecological disasters that happen, “it is what it is”, right? Well, I say wrong. In the end to the Bolsonaro regime, an end to imperialism and capitalist exploitation in Brazil, an end to the hunger, houselessness, joblessness, and oppression of the Brazilian working people in general. In this episode I go over some discussion about the history of reformism chauvinism and opportunism within the western and US “Left” movements and organizations, how we should learn from them, and how we must be building a revolutionary, proletarian organization to lead such a movement, and succeed in uniting the working and oppressed class of people in the United States, and the west in general. In this episode I go into a discussion about why we need to get to the core of the issues that people are facing today, not simply look at individual acts or people, not individual struggles, but how struggles of the oppressed class unite and how we must use that class power to overthrow the ruling class and destroy the oppressive system they wield. We talk about the need for a Marxist class analysis, and how proletarian revolution is the only true means by which the system can be fixed, a.k.a. destroyed and rebuilt by those who have been oppressed themselves.

In this episode we go over a base line understanding of commodity production under capitalism, a.k.a. why we make what we make, what purpose it serves, and who benefits. We go over the theories of capitalism and it’s foundational principles, and law of motion as explained by marks and angles, amongst others since then. This is a broad explanation of the commodity, the labour theory of value, exploitation, class society, and how we must understand all of this from a material, scientific reality, not just a vague idea.
